L'oeil du tigre en Inde - Premier Jour

La Journée des enfants est célébrée chaque année à des dates différentes suivant les régions du monde. Si les Nations Unies ont choisi le 20 novembre par exemple, l'Inde commémore chaque année cette Journée de enfants le 14 novembre, date de naissance du 1er Premier ministre de l'Inde, Nehru.
La poste indienne émet chaque année un timbre ou une série de timbre consacrés à cette Journée des enfants.
J'ai eu la chance de recevoir la série émise en 2011 sur le joli FDC officiel ci-dessous avec timbre à date Premier Jour (du 14 novembre donc) émis à Bhubaneswar. Merci beaucoup S. S. Rath :-)
Children's Day is celebrated every year on various days in many regions around the world. If the United Nations have chosen November 20 for example, every year India celebrates Children's Day of November 14, the birthday of the first Prime Minister of India, Nehru.
India Post is issuing each year a stamp or a series of stamps devoted to Children's Day.
I was lucky to receive the series issued in 2011 appearing on the nice official FDC below with cancellation (of November 14, therefore) issued in Bhubaneswar. Thank you very much S. S. Rath :-)

Le thème de cette année était "Sauvons le tigre" et un concours de dessins pour enfants était organisé lors de l'exposition internationale philatélique INDIPEX qui a eu lieu en février 2011 à New Delhi.
Parmi les 700 dessins, 8 ont été sélectionnés par la poste indienne : 2 sont reproduits sur les 2 timbres ci-dessus et les 6 autres sur les différentes enveloppes Premier Jour ou dans les marges du bloc-feuillet émis également ce 14 novembre 2011.
D'après un recensement récent (2007), à peine 1500 tigres vivraient toujours à l'état sauvage en Inde, dans le parc naturel du Bengale pour la plupart...
The theme this year was "Save Tiger" and a drawing contest for children was organized at the international stamp exhibition INDIPEX held in February 2011 in New Delhi.
Among the 700 drawings, eight were selected by India Post : two are reproduced on the two stamps above and the other six on the various First Day envelopes as well as in the margins of the souvenir sheet also issued on November 14, 2011.
According to a recent census (2007), only 1,500 tigers still live in the wild in India, in the Natural Park of Bengal for most of them...
