Timbre Brésil/Qatar consacré au football

A Brazil/Qatar Football stamp

Merci beaucoup Marcelo :-)
The 2014 and 2022 next FIFA World Cups will respectively take place in Brazil and Qatar (in Russia in 2018).
So why this football theme was chosen by the Brazilian Post to design the last stamp issued in 2011 (on December 19) as part of its series "Diplomatic Relations", dedicated to Qatar.
The stamp (that is not a joint issue with Qatar), designed by José Carlos Braga, appears on the FDC souvenir below mailed on December 22, 2011 from São Paulo. Thank you very much Marcelo :-)

To note the two FDC cancellations of Brasilia featuring the same design as the stamp's one.
This stamp symbolizes the passion of these two countries for football with this representation of two players (printed with a slight embossment) kicking a ball symmetrically.
The player wearing the colors of Brazil is depicted on the flag of Qatar and vice versa.
Thanks to its oil and natural gas, Qatar (and its Emir) has indeed, for several years, begun to expand its international influence through sport and football in particular...
