LISA du Salon d'Automne 2012

"Salon d'Automne 2012" ATM stamps

At the occasion of the 66th "Salon Philatélique d'Automne" held in Paris from 8 to 11 November 2012, the French Post has released two new "LISA" ATM stamps devoted to the Principality of Andorra, the guest of honor this year.
Each of these ATM stamps was offered to the public via two different machines, one with printing on "LISA 2" thermic paper and one with printing on "LISA 1" non-thermic paper.
The ATM stamps present on the covers below were all printed on "LISA 2" thermic paper.

These two ATM stamps ("Ecopli" postal rate - € 0.55) are included on the first cover above with the special postmark of this Stamp Exhibition of November 8th 2012 featuring the contours of the Principality of Andorra with the church of Sant Joan de Caselles and the Andorran flag inside.
The LISA at the top, designed by Pierre-André Cousin, depicts the Romanesque church of Sant Esteve (12th century) in Andorra la Vella to the left and the Sacré-Coeur Basilica in Paris to the right.

This same LISA ("Priority Letter" postal rate - € 0.60) appears on the cover above mailed the same day from this Salon Philatélique d'Automne.
Thank you very much Stéphane :-)
To note the unusual presence of letters on these ATM stamps on the left side ("LP" for "Lettre Prioritaire" and "EC" for "Ecopli")...

The second LISA ("Priority Letter" postal rate) appears on the last two special covers above (thank you very much François !) and below (thank you very much Stéphane !).
This LISA, designed by Patte & Besset, is featuring different stamps issued by the French Post in Andorra between 1944 and 2010, all devoted to the church of Sant Joan de Caselles (11th and 12th century).
The last stamp on the right is part of the beautiful engraved souvenir sheet devoted to Romanesque Art, issued in 2010 jointly by the French Post and the Spanish Post in Andorra.

On his cover above, Stéphane has used another special postmark issued during this Stamp Exhibition, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the issue of the famous "Rooster" stamp by Albert Decaris.
A collector of four stamps was also issued on this occasion. I will speak about very soon on this blog...

A photograph above taken during my visit to this Salon Philatélique d'Automne showing some of the machines distributing these two "LISA" ATM stamps, the one using "LISA 1" non-thermic printing to the left and another one using "LISA 2" thermic printing to the right.
The other machine in the middle allowed people to make change (from banknotes) because these two machines only accepted payments with Euro coins...
