Emission commune Singapour/Brunei - FDC

Singapore/Brunei joint stamp issue - FDC

On June 12, 1967 took effect the Currency Interchangeability Agreement (CIA) between Singapore and the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam.
This monetary agreement was then established with the objective of promoting a closer economic, trade and tourist cooperation between the two countries.
With this agreement, each country undertakes to accept the currency of the other (Singapore dollar or Brunei dollar) at a 1:1 ratio.
To commemorate the 45th anniversary of the signing of this agreement, the postal administrations of the two countries have issued on November 27, 2012, an interesting series of joint stamps.

A big thank you Terence for this official FDC above regarding this joint stamp issue, with the two stamps from Singapore to the left, the two stamps from Brunei to the right as well as their respective First Day cancellations :-)
Each country has issued a stamp (2$) with the same design depicting the back of the banknote jointly issued by the two countries in 2007 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of this CIA ("Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay" in Singapore to the left and "Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque"in Bandar Seri Begawan to the right).
The two other stamps evoke different iconic elements used on the four series of banknotes issued by the two countries ("Orchid", "Birds", "Ships" and "Portraits" for Singapore) since 1967.

To note that the SingPost has also issued a souvenir sheet in this same series, consisting of three stamps, the two mentioned above ($ 1 and $ 2) as well as a third stamp including the same design of the stamp (1 $) issued by Brunei.
I'm also sharing with you the other side of this FDC above because it includes a mysterious hand postmark of November 27, 2012 with the words "SPC Branch" ??
