Vieille ville de Lijiang - nouveau bloc à Hong Kong

Old town of Lijiang - New m/s from Hong Kong

Après la Grande Muraille en 2012, la poste de Hong Kong poursuit cette année sa série consacrée à des sites chinois classés au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO avec un nouveau bloc-feuillet évoquant la vieille ville de Lijiang (province du Yunnan).
Ce 2ème bloc-feuillet (timbre à 10$), conçu par Gideon Lai, figure sur le magnifique FDC officiel du 22 août 2013 ci-dessous. Merci beaucoup Kun :-)
A noter que le pavillon Wanjuan de la maison du clan Mu représenté sur le timbre a été imprimé (par Joh. Enschedé) avec un léger relief.
After the Great Wall in 2012, the Hong Kong Post continues this year its series devoted to Chinese sites listed as World Heritage by UNESCO with a new souvenir sheet referring to the old town of Lijiang (Yunnan Province).
This second souvenir sheet ($ 10.00 stamp), designed by Gideon Lai, appears on the beautiful official FDC of August 22, 2013 below. Thank you very much Kun :-)
To note that the Wanjuan Pavilion of the Mu's Mansion featured on the stamp was printed (by Joh. Enschedé) with a slight embossing.


Classé au patrimoine de l'humanité depuis 1997, cette vieille ville de Lijiang, située dans un paysage extraordinaire, a conservé un paysage urbain historique de grande qualité et éminemment authentique.
Son architecture est remarquable par l'association d'éléments de plusieurs cultures (Han, Bai, Yi, Zang, Naxi) réunies durant depuis le 13ème siècle (dynastie des Song du Sud).
Lijiang possède également un système d'alimentation en eau extrêmement complexe et ingénieux qui fonctionnant toujours aujourd'hui.
L'édifice dans la marge à gauche et le pavillon représenté sur le timbre constituent un des bâtiments emblématiques de cette ville, la maison du clan Mu (le nom de la famille qui fut à l'origine de la création de Lijiang).
Le fond su bloc montre la montagne du dragon de jade, connu pour être le sommet enneigé situé le plus au sud de l'hémisphère nord...
A world Heritage site since 1997, the old town of Lijiang, located in a stunning landscape, has retained a historic townscape of high quality and authenticity. Its architecture is noteworthy for the blending of elements from several cultures (Han, Bai, Yi, Zang, Naxi) that have come together over many centuries since the 13th century (late Song Dynasty).
Lijiang also possesses an ancient water-supply system of great complexity and ingenuity that still functions effectively today.
The building in the left margin and the Pavilion on the stamp are part of one of the iconic buildings of this city, the Mu's Mansion (after the name of the family who was behind the fundation of Lijiang).
The sheet's background shows the Jade Dragon Mountain, known as the southernmost snow-capped mountain in the the northern hemisphere...
