Un court message pour partager avec vous cette jolie lettre postée le 6 août 2014 de la ville indonésienne de Malang. Merci beaucoup Irene :-)
Ce joli bloc-feuillet (10000 Rp) numéroté (n° 23393) a été émis le 25 septembre 2013 à l'occasion de l'exposition philatélique nationale ("Pameran nasional filateli" ou "PANFILA") organisée à Bandung du 25 au 29 septembre 2013.
La ville de Bandung, située dans l'ouest de l'île de Java, est curieusement mentionnée "Bandoeng" dans la marge supérieure de ce bloc, en référence à son nom en néerlandais et en indonésien jusqu'en 1947.

This lovely souvenir sheet (10,000 Rp), numbered (No. 23393), was issued on September 25, 2013 on the occasion of the National Philatelic Exhibition ("Pameran Nasional Filateli" or "PANFILA") held in Bandung from 25 to 29 September 2013.
The city of Bandung, located in the west of the island of Java, is curiously mentioned "Bandoeng" in the top margin of this sheet, in reference to its name in Dutch and Indonesian until 1947.


Ce bloc-feuillet représente un train de type Argo Bromo opérant sur la ligne ferroviaire reliant la capitale, Jakarta, à cette ville de Bandung (ligne K.A. Argo Gede).
Ce train passe ici sur le pont métallique Cikurutug, considéré comme un des 25 ponts les plus spectaculaires dans le monde, offrant une vue à couper le souffle sur la vallée et les montagnes de cette région de l'ouest de Java.
La compagnie nationale de chemin de fer indonésienne, PT Kereta Api Indonesia, fait principalement rouler des trains sur cette île de Java.
This souvenir sheet is featuring a Argo Bromo train operating on the railway line linking the capital, Jakarta, to this city of Bandung (KA Argo Gede line).
This train runs here on the metallic Cikurutug bridge, considered as one of the 25 most spectacular bridges in the world, offering a breathtaking view on the valley and the mountains of this region of West Java.
The Indonesian national railway company, PT Kereta Api Indonesia, mainly operate trains on this island of Java.
