Year of the Goat in France

As it is the case since the year of the Rooster in 2005, the French Post has once again issued, in general sale on February 2, 2015, a souvenir sheet of five identical stamps (print run : 825,000 - 1,300,000 last year) dedicated to the new Chinese Lunar New Year, the Year of the Goat (associated again this year with the "wood" element).
I'm still not a fan at all of this topic and I really hope that this stamp series will end with the Year of the Monkey in 2017 after a complete cycle of 12 years...

It is one of the stamps (€ 0.76) of this souvenir sheet that was used on the two First Day Covers above and below, with postmarks of January 30, 2015 in Paris. Thank you very much Roland and Joël :-)
To note that the preview sale of that stamp took place this year in Paris at the "Carré d'Encre" (on January 30 and 31) but also at the National Museum of Asian Art Guimet (on February 1) and at "Tang Frères" (on January 30).
This new stamp was designed by Zhongyao Li, a French painter and calligrapher of Chinese origin, who has also designed the FDC postmark.
Zhongyao Li had already created the Chinese New Year's stamp in 2006 (Year of the Dog) and those issued between 2009 and 2014.

As a reminder, this New Year of the Goat will start on February 19th, marking, throughout Asia, a holiday period and the beginning of the Spring festival.
The Goat, 8th animal in the Chinese zodiac, is often regarded as creative and imaginative but also hesitant or capricious...
