"Euromed Postal" 2015 joint stamp from Tunisia : Boats of the Mediterranean

The Tunisian Post joined the organization of the Postal Union for the Mediterranean (PUMed) during a special meeting held in Malta on May 20, 2014.
As a reminder, PUMed was founded in 2011 and currently includes postal operators from 18 countries located directly on the Mediterranean (Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Malta, Morocco, Monaco, Palestine, Slovenia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey) as well as Portugal and Mauritania.
Such as Portugal and Croatia, Tunisia participated for the first time this year to the "Euromed Postal" joint series, devoted to the theme of "Boats of the Mediterranean".

It is that Tunisian stamp (1350 millimes, print run : 500,000) that appears on the official FDC above, put into circulation on July 9, 2015. Many thanks Walid for this cover sent from Nabeul on August 28, 2015 :-)
At the exception of Morocco, most of the participating countries (Palestine, Slovenia, Greece, Cyprus, Lebanon, Libya, Malta, Portugal, Croatia and Tunisia) have actually issued these stamps on July 9, 2015 (reminding July 9, 2007, date of the signing of the first International Convention of the Mediterranean Post).
This Tunisian stamp is featuring a Roman mosaic (2nd century AD) showing a Roman trireme, preserved in the archaeological museum of Sousse.
That stamp allows the Tunisian Post to remind us its links through history with the Mediterranean, especially at the time of the mighty Roman Carthage.
