"The Romanian Blouse, unity in spirit" stamp on FDC from Romania

On June 22, 2018, the Romanian Post put into circulation a very nice series (4 stamps) dedicated to one of the elements of the national female costume, the traditional blouse called "ia românească".
Of very ancient origin (civilization of the Dacians), the Romanian costume continued its evolution until today but preserved two essential characteristics: its unity and continuity.
After the Great Union of 1918 (present-day Romania and Moldova), this blouse, basic element of the traditional female costume, was promoted as a symbol of the unity of the Romanians.
Ditto in neighboring Moldova who had also dedicated a nice series in 2015 to this blouse "ie".
Through this series, the Romanian Post honors this blouse, characteristic of different regions of the country (Crisana, Maramures, Bucovina, Moldova, Banat, Transylvania, Oltenia and Muntenia).

One of the 4 stamps of this series (7 L), designed by Mihail Vămăşescu, is present on the beautiful illustrated First Day cover above, with postmarks from Bucharest (post office No. 37). Thank you very much Dorin!
These 4 stamps were each printed in sheet of 20 stamps, in sheetlet of 4 stamps as well as in a same souvenir sheet containing the 4 stamps.
Each of these 4 stamps represents 2 different blouses, separated by a rather original perforation in the center.
The stamp above highlights a blouse from the Banat region (center-west of the country), in particular the city of Lugoj, and a Transylvanian blouse from the village of Padureni in particular.
The characteristics of the Banat blouse are the splendor and brilliance of the embroidery made of Turkish-style golden threads, a type of embroidery called "broderie grasa pe scris".
The other blouse on the right is simpler, made from hemp, with a decorative composition on the sleeves ("Altiţa pădurenească") and on the chest ("tablei").
Finally, to note the illustration on this envelope, reproducing a painting by Henri Matisse entitled "La Blouse Roumaine" (1940, National Museum of Modern Art in Paris).
