Christmas 2018 stamps and special "St. Nicholas" postmark on cover from Germany

Thank you very much Jens for this nice letter sent on December 6, 2018 from the village of St. Nikolaus (D-66351 - municipality of Großrosseln), located in the south of Saarland, near the French border!
Since 1966, this village has a Christmas post office ("Nikolauspostamt"), opened this year between 5 and 24 December 2018.
St. Nicholas, or Nicholas of Myre, is a bishop born in the 3rd century in Lycia (Anatolia), renowned for his charity and his combative faith. At the origin of the character of Santa Claus, St. Nicholas is today the protector of many nations and many trades, celebrated on December 6th.
As in previous years, a special postmark was put into circulation (representing Saint Nicholas next to a mailbox) and it was applied on Saint Nicholas Day on this cover!

This cancellation contains the address of the website of this Christmas Post Office as well as the mention "Ein Kinderlächeln ist unbezahlbar" ("A child's smile has no price"). More than 21,000 children's letters were received last year.
The stamp on the left (€ 0.70, design: Jennifer Dengler) is one of the two Christmas ("Weihnachten") stamps issued on November 2, 2018, depicting a snowy landscape with the Santa Claus sledge ("Weihnachtsschlitten") in the sky.
The other Christmas stamp, above to the right (€ 0.70 + € 0.30), designed by Designbüro Behr (Cologne), reproduces a part of a stained glass window (Virgin and Child) of the Collegiate Church of St. Stephan in Mainz.
This church is the only German church for which Marc Chagall (1887-1985) created stained glass windows (between 1978 and his death).
Marc Chagall has designed 9 stained glass windows for the choir of this church, depicting scriptural characters of a bright blue, evoking scenes from the Old Testament and illustrating the commonalities between Christian and Jewish traditions. Chagall wanted his work to be a contribution to jewish-german reconciliation.
