"85 years since the birth of linguist Ion Dumeniuc" postmark on cover from Moldova

Merci beaucoup Nicolae !
On May 5, 2021, the Post of Moldova put into circulation a postmark dedicated to the 85th anniversary (to the day) of the birth of linguist Ion Dumeniuc (1936-1992).
Ion Dumeniuc was a linguist, university professor, publicist and statesman of Bessarabia, the first director of the State Department of Languages of the Republic of Moldova (in 1991-1992), first editor of the magazine "Limba Română" ("Romanian language") and a fighter for the return to Latin spelling and the use of the Romanian language in Moldova.
This postmark, designed by Eugen Verebceanu, was applied by the main post office in Chișinău (MD-2012) on this illustrated envelope (design: Lilian Iațco, print run: 5,000), published in 2019 by the Moldovan Post. Thank you very much Nicolae!

This envelope evokes literature and in particular Mihai Eminescu (1850-1889), considered as the greatest and most representative poet of Romanian language, through an extract from one of his poems, "Somnoroase păsărele" ("Sleeping birds" ) on the top left corner.
Mihai Eminescu is also featured on the 5.75 L stamp above, part of a series (2 stamps) issued on January 15, 2013, devoted to representations of the poet in painting. This stamp reproduces a painting entitled "Dedicaţie" ("Dedication") executed in 1989 by the painter Vasile Naşcu, kept at the National Museum of Arts of Moldova.

This issue coincided with the 130th anniversary of the publication of "Luceafărul" ("The Evening Star") considered today as a masterpiece and one of the longest poems devoted to love ever written in the world.
The other stamp (3.30 L) is part of a series (6 stamps) issued on December 16, 1997, devoted to protected buildings ("Clădiri protejate"), here the palace which housed the Sfatul Țării, the assembly which proclaimed the independence of the Moldovan Democratic Republic in 1917 then the Union with Romania in 1918. This building, built in 1905, was badly damaged during the Second World War and today houses the Academy of Music, theater and fine arts.
