"National Theater Mihai Eminescu - 100th anniversary" s/s on FDC from Moldova

In the presence of the current director, Petru Hadârcă, a ceremony took place on October 30, 2021 inside the National Theater Mihai Eminescu in Chișinău, for the official release of a souvenir sheet dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the creation of this cultural institution.
This souvenir sheet (design: Vitaliu Pogolșa, print run: 24,000), consisting of a stamp (5.75 L) and a label, is present on this official FDC (print run: 300) with postmark from Chișinău (MD- 2012). Thank you very much Nicolae!
The stamp shows the imposing current façade (building finished in 1954) of this national theatre, also present on the emblem of its 100th anniversary on the left on the envelope (with the slogan "100 years of artistic activity").
The previous building of this theater is represented at the bottom left of the envelope.

The label of this souvenir sheet features a portrait of Gheorghe Mitu Dumitriu, the first director of this theatre, with in the background the letter from the Romanian government at the time instituting the creation of this national theater in Chișinău, signed by the Minister of Cults and the Arts, Octavian Goga.
This creation was initiated by a group of leaders of local public life led by Sergiu T. Niţă, Minister of Bessarabia in the Romanian government, Ștefan Ciobanu, member of the Romanian Academy and writers Nicolae N. Beldiceanu, Nicolae Beldiman, Leon Donici.
As a reminder, Bessarabia was united with Romania at the time.
To note that this national theater was named after the great Romanian poet Mihai Eminescu in 1988.
The top margin of this souvenir sheet is interesting because it shows on the left a sketch for a panel of the theater foyer depicting Ovid (1925, by painter Auguste Baillayre), and on the right, a scene from the recent show "Dosarele Siberiei" (2019 ), in memory of those who were killed, mutilated, tortured and humiliated by the communist regime during their deportations to Siberia in the Soviet gulags.
