EUROPA 2026 (70th anniversary of the EUROPA stamps) stamp on FDC from France

Timbre EUROPA 2026 (70ème anniversaire des timbres EUROPA) sur FDC de France 

L'année 2026 marque le 70ème anniversaire des timbres EUROPA, une initiative philatélique lancée pour renforcer les relations entre les pays européens et promouvoir une paix et une unité durables.
Émis pour la première fois en 1956 par six nations – la Belgique, la France, l'Allemagne, l'Italie, le Luxembourg et les Pays-Bas, membres fondateurs de l'Union européenne – ce programme s'est étendu progressivement à 53 organisations postales participantes.
L'an dernier, le groupe de travail Timbres et Philatélie de PostEurop a organisé un concours interne pour choisir un motif commun sur le thème "70ème anniversaire du timbre EUROPA : Unis par...".
Guidés par des valeurs partagées telles que la communication, l'innovation, la coopération et des racines communes, les membres ont soumis 15 propositions créatives, chacune présentant une vision unique. 
Suite au vote de 50 organisations postales, ce concours a été remporté par la poste finlandaise (Posti), devant la poste de Bosnie-Herzégovine (Sarajevo) et la poste luxembourgeoise.
C'est donc le projet de l'artiste et graphiste Klaus Welp qui figure sur les timbres EUROPA émis en 2026. 
The year 2026 marks the 70th anniversary of the EUROPA stamps, a philatelic initiative launched to strengthen relations between European countries and promote lasting peace and unity.
First issued in 1956 by six nations – Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands, founding members of the European Union – this program has gradually expanded to include 53 participating postal organizations.
Last year, PostEurop's Stamps and Philately Working Group organized an internal competition to choose a common design on the theme "70th Anniversary of the EUROPA Stamp: United by...".
Guided by shared values ​​such as communication, innovation, cooperation, and common roots, the members submitted 15 creative proposals, each presenting a unique vision.
Following a vote by 50 postal organizations, the Finnish Post (Posti) won the competition, ahead of the Post of Bosnia & Herzegovina (Sarajevo) and the Post of Luxembourg.
The design by artist and graphic designer Klaus Welp will therefore be featured on the EUROPA stamps issued in 2026.

Le 11 mai 2026 (vente générale), la poste française a mis en circulation un timbre EUROPA unique (2,25€, tirage : 720000) reproduisant le dessin conçu par Klaus Welp.
Ce timbre, imprimé en feuillet de 12 timbres avec marges illustrées, a été utilisé sur la lettre ci-dessus, avec TAD Premier Jour (conception : Valérie Besser) de Strasbourg (67) du 9 mai 2026 (Journée de l'Europe). Merci beaucoup Olivier!
Ce timbre EUROPA allie éléments abstraits et symboliques. La ligne pointillée ascendante en diagonale représente à la fois la perforation du timbre et le travail progressif de PostEurop. Les sept points, reliés par une ligne droite, symbolisent soixante-dix ans d'efforts concertés des opérateurs postaux à travers le continent.
Les dégradés et les motifs pointillés en arrière-plan forment une surface harmonieuse et dynamique, reflétant le joyeux mélange de couleurs du drapeau européen et symbolisant l'unité de tous les États membres.
A noter que la poste française semble être la seule administration postale européenne à avoir modifié le dessin de Klaus Welp, ajoutant cette vilaine mention "70ème anniversaire du timbre EUROPA" sur fond bleu, dénaturant l'œuvre à mon goût...
On May 11, 2026 (general sale), the French Post put into circulation a unique EUROPA stamp (€2.25, print run: 720,000) reproducing the design by Klaus Welp.
This stamp, printed in a sheetlet of 12 with illustrated margins, was used on the cover above, with First Day cancellation (design: Valérie Besser) from Strasbourg (67) dated May 9, 2026 (Europe Day). Thank you very much, Olivier!
This EUROPA stamp combines abstract and symbolic elements. The diagonally ascending dotted line represents both the perforation of a stamp and the progressive work of the PostEurop. The seven dots, connected by a straight line, symbolize seventy years of unified effort by postal operators across the continent.
The blending gradients and dotted patterns in the background form a cohesive and vibrant surface, reflecting the joyful mix of colours from the European flag and symbolizing the unity of all member nations. 
It should be noted that the French Post seems to be the only European postal administration to have altered Klaus Welp's design, adding this ugly inscription "70th anniversary of the EUROPA stamp" on a blue background, thus distorting the work in my opinion...  

"A World of Letters" definitive stamps on cover from Germany

Timbres de la série courante "Un monde de lettres" sur lettre d'Allemagne 

Le 2 décembre 2021, la Deutsche Post avait mis en circulation les 4 premiers timbres d'une nouvelle série courante intitulée "Welt der Briefe" ("Un monde de lettres").
Il s'agissait de la première série courante allemande intégrant des QR-codes (ou codes matriciels).
Pour rappel, avec ces timbres, les clients peuvent savoir quand une lettre est arrivée dans le centre de traitement local et quand elle a atteint sa région de destination, rendant ce service postal universel encore plus fiable.
Pour les philatélistes et les clients intéressés, il y a un avantage supplémentaire: des informations de base détaillées sur les frais de port en particulier peuvent être consultées en utilisant l'application "Post & DHL" de la Deutsche Post via le code matriciel. 
Conçus par Bettina Walter, ces timbres associent le thème de l'écriture et de la transmission des messages à une imagerie positive, en utilisant un style imaginatif et surréaliste.
On December 2, 2021, the Deutsche Post had put into circulation the first 4 stamps of a new definitive series entitled "Welt der Briefe" ("A World of Letters").
This was the first German definitive series incorporating QR-codes (or matrix codes).
As a reminder, with these stamps, customers are able to track when a letter has arrived at the local mail processing center and when it has reached its destination region, making this universal postal service even more reliable.
For philatelists and interested customers, there is an additional benefit: detailed basic information on shipping costs in particular can be viewed using the "Post & DHL" application of the Deutsche Post via the matrix code.
Designed by Bettina Walter, these stamps combine the theme of writing and the transmission of messages with positive imagery, using an imaginative and surreal style.  

D'autres timbres de cette série courante ont été émis en 2022, 2023, 2024 et 2025, soit un total (sauf erreur) de 31 timbres, avec des valeurs faciales entre 0,05€ et 3,70€.

A noter que les timbres de cette série courante peuvent être assemblés comme un puzzle pour former une grande image.

Other stamps of this definitive series have been issued in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, for a total (unless I'm mistaken) of 31 stamps, with nominal values ​​ranging from €0.05 to €3.70.

Le 9 avril 2026, la poste roumaine a mis en circulation une série (2 timbres, tirage total : 17800) consacrée à ce thème du 70ème anniversaire des timbres EUROPA, dont un incluant le logo EUROPA, celui reproduisant le projet de Klaus Welp (16 RON).
Ces 2 timbres, imprimés chacun en feuille de 28 timbres et en feuillet de 5 timbres + 1 vignette (colombe de la paix), ont été utilisés sur la lettre ci-dessus envoyée le 7 mai 2026 depuis la ville de Voluntari (nord-est de Bucarest). Merci beaucoup Mihnea !

A noter que la poste roumaine a émis ses premiers timbres EUROPA en 1991, illustrant alors le thème de l'Europe et l'espace.  
On April 9, 2026, the Romanian Post issued a series (2 stamps, total print run: 17,800) dedicated to this 70th anniversary of the EUROPA stamps, one of which includes the EUROPA logo, reproducing Klaus Welp's design (16 RON).
These two stamps, each printed in sheet of 28 stamps and in a souvenir sheet of 5 stamps + 1 label (a peace dove), have been used on the cover above, sent on May 7, 2026, from the city of Voluntari (northeast of Bucharest). Thank you very much, Mihnea!

To maintain stylistic unity, this stamp adopts the graphic style of the EUROPA stamp on the right, thus symbolizing twinning, integration and friendship between countries.
It should be noted that the Romanian Post issued its first EUROPA stamps in 1991, illustrating the theme of European aerospace.  

"Bilateral Relations with African Countries" stamp set on cover from Peru

Série "Relations bilatérales avec les pays africains" sur lettre du Pérou 

Le 21 octobre 2025, la poste péruvienne a mis en circulation une série (3 timbres se-tenant) consacrée à différents anniversaires de l'établissement de relations diplomatiques avec certains pays africains : Angola (40ème anniversaire), Sénégal et Tanzanie (50ème anniversaire).
Ces 3 timbres (4 PEN, tirage : 5000, conception : Marco Antonio Quispe Yalli), avec marge supérieure, ont été utilisés sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 25 avril 2026 depuis la ville de Chimbote. Merci beaucoup César !
Cette émission célèbre non seulement des années de dialogue et de coopération, mais symbolise également la reconnaissance mutuelle du patrimoine culturel, historique et naturel partagé par le Pérou et ses partenaires africains, soulignant la fraternité, la diversité et l'engagement à préserver les trésors naturels qui unissent ces peuples. 
On October 21, 2025, the Peruvian Post put into circulation a set of three se-tenant stamps commemorating the anniversaries of diplomatic relations established with several African countries: Angola (40th anniversary), Senegal, and Tanzania (50th anniversary).
These three stamps (4 PEN, print run: 5,000, design: Marco Antonio Quispe Yalli), with a top margin, have been used on the cover below, sent on April 25, 2026, from the city of Chimbote. Thank you very much, César!
This issue not only celebrates years of dialogue and cooperation but also symbolizes the mutual recognition of the cultural, historical, and natural heritage shared by Peru and its African partners, highlighting the fraternity, diversity, and commitment to preserving the natural treasures that unite these peoples.  

Le timbre à gauche évoque les relations avec le Sénégal. Au cours de ces cinquante années, les deux pays ont collaboré au sein des instances internationales et promu des initiatives en faveur de l'environnement.
Deux sites naturels classés au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO ont été choisis : le parc national de Manú au Pérou et le parc national de Niokolo-Koba au Sénégal. Le premier, l'un des territoires les plus riches en biodiversité de la planète, et le second, sanctuaire essentiel pour les espèces menacées d'Afrique de l'Ouest, témoignent de l'engagement commun à protéger les richesses naturelles.
Le timbre au centre illustre les relations avec l'Angola, en particulier deux espèces emblématiques de chaque pays : le taruca (Hippocamelus antisensis), cerf andin du Pérou, et l'hippotrague noir géant (Hippotragus niger variani), symbole menacé de la faune angolaise.
Ces 2 espèces représentent la majesté de la biodiversité et l'engagement commun à protéger les espèces vulnérables.
Le dernier timbre à droite est consacré aux relations avec la Tanzanie, nourries par l'extraordinaire biodiversité partagée par les deux pays. De l'Amazonie péruvienne aux plaines africaines, le Pérou et la Tanzanie ont le privilège commun de préserver des écosystèmes uniques.
Ce timbre illustre deux des montagnes les plus emblématiques du monde : le volcan Misti (5825 m. d'altitude), symbole des Andes péruviennes, et le Kilimandjaro (5892 m. d'altitude), plus haut sommet d'Afrique. Toutes deux évoquent la majesté des paysages et le respect de la préservation des merveilles naturelles qui définissent l'identité de chaque nation.
The stamp on the left evokes relations with Senegal. Over the past fifty years, the two countries have collaborated within international bodies and promoted environmental initiatives.
Two natural sites listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites were chosen: Manú National Park in Peru and Niokolo-Koba National Park in Senegal. The former, one of the most biodiverse territories on the planet, and the latter, a vital sanctuary for endangered species in West Africa, bear witness to the shared commitment to protecting natural resources.
The stamp in the center illustrates relations with Angola, in particular two emblematic species of each country: the taruca (Hippocamelus antisensis), the Andean deer of Peru, and the giant sable antelope (Hippotragus niger variani), an endangered symbol of Angolan wildlife.
These two species represent the majesty of biodiversity and the shared commitment to protecting vulnerable species.
The last stamp on the right is dedicated to relations with Tanzania, fostered by the extraordinary biodiversity shared by both countries. From the Peruvian Amazon to the African plains, Peru and Tanzania have the shared privilege of preserving unique ecosystems.
This stamp illustrates two of the world's most iconic mountains: the Misti volcano (5,825 m), a symbol of the Peruvian Andes, and Kilimanjaro (5,892 m), the highest peak in Africa. Both evoke the majesty of the landscapes and the respect for preserving the natural wonders that define the identity of each nation.  

"Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games" stamps on cover from Armenia

Timbres "Jeux olympiques de Milano Cortina 2026" sur lettre d'Arménie 

Le 18 avril 2026, 2 mois après la fin des jeux (!), la poste arménienne a mis en circulation un timbre consacré aux 25èmes jeux olympiques d'hiver, organisés du 6 au 22 février 2026 à Milan et Cortina d'Ampezzo en Italie.
Ce timbre (380 AMD, tirage : 10000) conçu par Vahagn Mkrtchyan et imprimé en feuillet de 10 timbres (en Belgique par bpost Philately & Stamps Printing), a été utilisé en 2 exemplaires sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée en recommandé le 20 avril 2026 depuis Erevan. Merci beaucoup Sedrak ! 
Ce timbre est plutôt réussi, représentant les anneaux olympiques et des montagnes enneigées se reflétant dans des lunettes de ski, sans toutefois mentionner "Milano Cortina 2026" (mention présente dans les marges du feuillet). 
On April 18, 2026, two months after the Games ended (!), the Armenian Post put into circulation a stamp commemorating the 25th Winter Olympic Games, held from February 6 to 22, 2026, in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
This stamp (380 AMD, print run: 10,000), designed by Vahagn Mkrtchyan and printed in a sheetlet of 10 (in Belgium by bpost Philately & Stamps Printing), was used twice on the cover below, sent by registered mail on April 20, 2026, from Yerevan. Many thanks, Sedrak!
This stamp is quite well done, depicting the Olympic rings and snow-covered mountains reflected in ski goggles, but without mentioning "Milano Cortina 2026" (a mention present in the margins of the sheetlet).  

L'Arménie participe aux jeux olympiques d'hiver en tant que nation indépendante depuis 1994 et a engagé 5 athlètes (3 hommes, 2 femmes) lors de ces jeux de Milano Cortina 2026, en compétition dans 3 sports (ski alpin, ski de fond, patinage artistique).
Depuis 1994, l'Arménie n'a remporté aucune médaille olympique lors des jeux olympiques d'hiver.

Armenia has participated in the Winter Olympics as an independent nation since 1994 and has entered five athletes (three men and two women) in the 2026 Milan-Cortina Games, competing in three sports (alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, and figure skating).
Since 1994, Armenia has not won any Olympic medals at the Winter Games.

La poste de Guernesey a mis en circulation, le 1er avril 2026, une série de 6 timbres illustrant cette thématique (en particulier le chiffre 7 décliné dans différentes illustrations), dont un, incluant le logo EUROPA, reproduisant le dessin conçu par Klaus Welp.

América-UPAEP 2025 (Health) stamps on FDC from Uruguay

Après l'environnement en 2024 et avant les lacs et lagunes en 2026, le thème choisi en 2025 pour les émissions de timbres América-UPAEP était consacré à la santé ("Salud" en espagnol).
Pour rappel, l'UPAEP (Union Postale des Amériques, de l'Espagne et du Portugal) est une union restreinte de l'UPU, créée en 1911, regroupant une trentaine de pays et territoires.
L'UPAEP, basée à Montevideo (Uruguay), vise à développer et moderniser les services postaux, en facilitant l'échange d'expériences et la mise en œuvre de projets de coopération entre les pays membres.
A l'image des timbres EUROPA, des timbres UPAEP sont émis chaque année depuis 1989, par une quinzaine de pays environ, sur un thème commun.
La poste uruguayenne a émis des timbres UPAEP chaque année depuis 1989 et a mis en circulation, le 29 décembre 2025, un timbre (37 UYU, conception : Álvaro Rodríguez, tirage : 5000) imprimé en feuille de 25 timbres.

As a reminder, UPAEP (Postal Union of the Americas, Spain and Portugal) is a restricted union of the UPU, established in 1911, bringing together about thirty countries and territories.
UPAEP, headquartered in Montevideo, Uruguay, aims to develop and modernize postal services, facilitating the exchange of experiences and the implementation of cooperation projects between member countries. 
Like EUROPA stamps, UPAEP stamps are issued each year since 1989 by around fifteen countries, on a common theme.
The Uruguayan Post has issued UPAEP stamps every year since 1989 and put into circulation, on December 29, 2025, a stamp (37 UYU, design: Álvaro Rodríguez, print run: 5,000) printed in a sheet of 25 stamps.

Le thème de ce timbre est plus précisément consacré à la stratégie nationale pour la santé mentale et le bien-être 2025-2030, largement soutenue en particulier par la poste uruguayenne, en collaboration avec la Banque de sécurité sociale (BPS).
Ce timbre reproduit une œuvre intitulée "La dame bleue" produite par un membre du projet "Taller Sala 12" de l'hôpital Vilardebó, un établissement psychiatrique de Montevideo.
Créé en 2008 par l'infirmière Selva Tabeira, ce projet est un espace de réadaptation psychosociale pour les patients hospitalisés, les patients externes et le personnel. L'atelier est spécialisé dans la restauration de meubles, la réparation d'appareils orthopédiques et d'aides techniques, la création artistique et d'autres activités manuelles à partir de matériaux recyclés.
Ce projet permet aussi de démontrer que les personnes handicapées ou souffrant de troubles psychiatriques peuvent travailler, utiliser des outils et se réinsérer. Il met en lumière la valeur de l'art comme outil d'expression, d'intégration et de construction de la citoyenneté.

The theme of this stamp is specifically dedicated to the National Strategy for Mental Health and Well-being 2025-2030, which is widely supported, particularly by the Uruguayan Post, in collaboration with the Social Security Bank (BPS).
This stamp reproduces a work entitled "The Blue Lady", produced by a member of the "Taller Sala 12" project at Vilardebó Hospital, a psychiatric facility in Montevideo.
Created in 2008 by nurse Selva Tabeira, this project is a space for psychosocial rehabilitation for inpatients, outpatients, and staff. The workshop specializes in furniture restoration, the repair of orthopedic devices and assistive devices, artistic creation, and other craft activities using recycled materials.
This project also demonstrates that people with disabilities or mental health conditions can work, use tools, and reintegrate into society. It highlights the value of art as a tool for expression, integration, and building citizenship.

Suite au vote de 50 organisations postales, ce concours a été remporté par la poste finlandaise (Posti), devant la poste de Bosnie-Herzégovine (Sarajevo) et la poste luxembourgeoise.
C'est donc le projet de l'artiste et graphiste Klaus Welp qui figure sur les timbres EUROPA émis en 2026.

Following a vote by 50 postal organizations, the Finnish Post (Posti) won the competition, ahead of the Post of Bosnia & Herzegovina (Sarajevo) and the Post of Luxembourg.
The design by artist and graphic designer Klaus Welp will therefore be featured on the EUROPA stamps issued in 2026. 

Le 24 avril 2026, la poste autrichienne a mis en circulation un timbre EUROPA unique (1,25€, tirage : 150000) reproduisant le dessin conçu par Klaus Welp.
Ce timbre, imprimé (en France par Cartor Security Printers), a été utilisé sur la lettre ci-dessus avec TAD Premier Jour de la ville d'Eisenerz. Merci beaucoup Edna !
Je ne sais pas exactement pourquoi cette ville d'Eisenerz a été choisie pour ce Premier Jour, ville située en Styrie, dans le district de Leoben, déjà sélectionnée pour la prévente des timbres EUROPA en 2022 et 2024...
Ce timbre EUROPA allie éléments abstraits et symboliques. La ligne pointillée ascendante en diagonale représente à la fois la perforation du timbre et le travail progressif de PostEurop. Les sept points, reliés par une ligne droite, symbolisent soixante-dix ans d'efforts concertés des opérateurs postaux à travers le continent.
Les dégradés et les motifs pointillés en arrière-plan forment une surface harmonieuse et dynamique, reflétant le joyeux mélange de couleurs du drapeau européen et symbolisant l'unité de tous les États membres.
A noter que l'Autriche a émis son premier timbre EUROPA en 1959 (un bâtiment en forme de "E"), année de la création de la CEPT, sans toutefois reproduire le dessin commun (six anneaux entrelacés par l'allemand Walter Brudi) choisi cette année-là.

I don't know exactly why Eisenerz (Styria, Leoben district) was chosen for this First Day of Issue, already selected for the preview sale of the EUROPA stamps in 2022 and 2024...

The seven dots, connected by a straight line, symbolize seventy years of unified effort by postal operators across the continent.

Le 5 mai 2026, la poste du Luxembourg a mis en circulation une série (3 timbres, tirage : 30000 chacun, imprimés en Belgique par bpost) consacrée à ce thème du 70ème anniversaire des timbres EUROPA, dont deux incluant le logo EUROPA, celui reproduisant le projet de Klaus Welp (1,70€) et celui reproduisant le projet luxembourgeois pour ce concours (1,20€).
Ces 3 timbres figurent sur le FDC officiel ci-dessus avec TAD de Luxembourg. 
Le timbre EUROPA au centre, conçu par Jill Els, représente une colombe moderne qui symbolise à la fois la paix et la correspondance traditionnelle. A noter que seuls les timbres reproduisant les différents projets des postes participantes à ce concours de PostEurop peuvent inclure le logo EUROPA.
Le 3ème timbre à gauche (1,20€), conçu par Marc Wilmes (Prix du jury au Luxembourg), intègre et combine de manière créative les 5 différents alphabets utilisés en Europe : latin, cyrillique, grec, arménien et géorgien.
Chaque alphabet reflète des siècles d'histoire, de culture et d'évolution linguistique, façonnant la manière dont les peuples lisent, écrivent et préservent leur patrimoine.
Ces 2 derniers timbres comportent le thème de cette émission (en anglais !) ainsi que la mention "Unis dans la diversité", qui est aussi la devise de l'Union européenne depuis 2000. 
On May 5, 2026, the Luxembourg Post put into circulation a set of three stamps (print run: 30,000 each, printed in Belgium by bpost) dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the EUROPA stamps. Two of these stamps include the EUROPA logo: one reproducing Klaus Welp's design (€1.70) and the other reproducing the Luxembourg design for this competition (€1.20).
These three stamps are featured on the official First Day Cover above, with cancellations from Luxembourg.
The EUROPA stamp in the center, designed by Jill Els, depicts a modern dove that symbolises both the tradition of written correspondence and the idea of peace. It should be noted that only stamps reproducing the designs of the participating postal administrations in this PostEurop competition are permitted to include the EUROPA logo.
The third stamp from the left (€1.20), designed by Marc Wilmes (Jury's Prize in Luxembourg), creatively integrates and combines the five different alphabets used in Europe: Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Armenian, and Georgian.
Each alphabet reflects centuries of history, culture, and linguistic evolution, shaping how people read, write, and preserve their heritage.
These last two stamps feature the theme of this issue (in English!) as well as the mention "United in Diversity", which has also been the motto of the European Union since 2000.  

"60 years of diplomatic relations with South Korea" stamp on FDC from Paraguay

Timbre "60 ans de relations diplomatiques avec la Corée du Sud" sur FDC du Paraguay 

Depuis l'établissement des relations diplomatiques entre la Corée du Sud et le Paraguay en 1962, ces deux pays ont développé et renforcé leurs liens de coopération, d'amitié et d'échanges dans divers domaines tels que la politique, l'économie, la société et la culture.
Depuis le début de l'immigration agricole coréenne au Paraguay en 1965, la communauté coréenne s'est considérablement développée et compte aujourd'hui environ 5000 coréens qui se sont intégrés avec succès dans différents secteurs de la société paraguayenne, gagnant la confiance et l'affection de la population.
Parallèlement, la communauté coréenne du Paraguay joue un rôle essentiel de trait d'union entre la Corée et le Paraguay, contribuant au renforcement des relations, de la coopération et de l'amitié bilatérales et offrant un avenir prometteur aux résidents coréens.
De nombreuses entreprises coréennes participent activement au développement de la coopération économique et commerciale entre les deux pays. Parmi elles figurent Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, THN, Ilsung Construction, KBEC Korea et Cheongbo Paraguay. 
Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Paraguay in 1962, the two countries have developed and strengthened their ties of cooperation, friendship, and exchange in various fields, including politics, economics, society, and culture.
Since the beginning of Korean agricultural immigration to Paraguay in 1965, the Korean community has grown considerably and now numbers approximately 5,000 Koreans who have successfully integrated into various sectors of Paraguayan society, earning the trust and affection of the population.
Simultaneously, the Korean community in Paraguay plays a vital role as a bridge between Korea and Paraguay, contributing to the strengthening of bilateral relations, cooperation, and friendship, and offering a promising future for Korean residents.
Many Korean companies actively participate in the development of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. These include Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, THN, Ilsung Construction, KBEC Korea, and Cheongbo Paraguay.  

Le 28 juin 2022, la poste du Paraguay a mis en circulation un timbre (3000 PYG, tirage inconnu) consacré au 60ème anniversaire de ces relations diplomatiques avec la Corée du Sud.
Ce timbre et sa vignette attenante, figure sur le FDC ci-dessus.
Pour célébrer ce 60ème anniversaire, l'ambassade de Corée du Sud au Paraguay avait organisé un concours de création d'un logo, récompensant alors 3 lauréats, choisis pour avoir intégré avec succès des éléments reflétant l'histoire d'amitié et de coopération entre les deux nations.
Deux de ces 3 logos sont exploités sur ce FDC : logo avec le nombre "60" mêlant les emblèmes nationaux des 2 pays, sur la vignette et le TAD Premier Jour (par Manuella González Inostroza), et logo (par María Marta Miranda Mazacotte) sur le timbre.
Ce dernier logo représente un tigre de Sibérie (Panthera tigris altaica), animal national de la Corée, et l'oiseau national du Paraguay (depuis 2012), l'Araponga à gorge nue (Procnias nudicollis), devant un gâteau d'anniversaire.
On June 28, 2022, the Paraguayan postal administration issued a stamp (3,000 PYG, unknown print run) commemorating the 60th anniversary of these diplomatic relations with South Korea.
This stamp and its accompanying label have been used on the First Day Cover above.
To celebrate this 60th anniversary, the South Korean Embassy in Paraguay held a logo design competition, awarding prizes to three winners chosen for successfully incorporating elements reflecting the history of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
Two of these three logos are used on this FDC: a logo incorporating the number "60" and combining the national emblems of the two countries, appearing on the label and the First Day cancellation (by Manuella González Inostroza), and a logo (by María Marta Miranda Mazacotte) on the stamp.
This latest logo depicts a Siberian tiger (Panthera tigris altaica), the national animal of Korea, and the national bird of Paraguay (since 2012), the bare-throated bellbird (Procnias nudicollis), in front of a birthday cake.  

"Malaysia’s horse‐related heritage" stamp set on FDCs from Malaysia

En référence à la nouvelle année du cheval ("Kuda" en malais) selon le calendrier lunaire chinois, la poste malaisienne a mis en circulation, le 24 février 2026, une jolie série (2 timbres + 1 bloc-feuillet) consacrée au patrimoine équestre du pays, en particulier le tir à l'arc à cheval, l'équitation d'endurance et le cheval Bajau Samah, également connu sous le nom de poney Paddy (Kuda Padi).
Un grand merci Khor pour l'envoi de ces 2 FDCs officiels concernant respectivement la série et le bloc-feuillet, avec TAD d'Ipoh (état de Perak) !
A noter qu'une série déjà consacrée aux activités équestres avait été émise en 2014, d'où le "2" associé à cette nouvelle émission.
Cette série est rehaussée d'un vernis sélectif UV qui accentue les éléments visuels clés par une texture et une profondeur accrues. Les illustrations mettent en lumière la grâce, la polyvalence et l'importance culturelle du cheval dans le sport, le patrimoine et la vie communautaire, faisant de cette série un ajout captivant pour les philatélistes et les passionnés. 
In reference to the New Year of the Horse ("Kuda" in Malay) according to the Chinese lunar calendar, Malaysian Post released a beautiful series (2 stamps + 1 souvenir sheet) on February 24, 2026, dedicated to the country's horse-related heritage, particularly horseback archery, endurance riding, and the Bajau Samah horse, also known as the Paddy pony (Kuda Padi).
Many thanks to Khor for sending these two official First Day Covers, with the two stamps and the souvenir sheet, respectively, with postmarks from Ipoh (state of Perak)!
To note that a series already dedicated to equestrian activities was issued in 2014, hence the "2" associated with this new issue. 
This new set is enhanced with Spot UV finishing, which accentuates key visual elements with added texture and depth. The artworks portray the grace, versatility, and cultural importance of horses across sport, heritage, and community, making this series a compelling addition for philatelists and enthusiasts alike.  

Le bloc-feuillet ci-dessus (5 RM) évoque le cheval Bajau Samah, également connu sous le nom de poney des rizières (Kuda Padi), une race équine indigène étroitement liée à Sabah, et plus particulièrement au district de Kota Belud.
Élevé par la communauté Bajau Samah, ce cheval est réputé pour sa petite taille, sa robustesse et son tempérament calme, des caractéristiques qui le rendent parfaitement adapté au climat tropical de Sabah.
Traditionnellement, le cheval Bajau Samah jouait un rôle important dans la vie quotidienne, servant de moyen de transport et participant aux activités agricoles telles que l'élevage et la conduite des troupeaux de bovins et de buffles.

The souvenir sheet above (5 RM) is devoted to the Bajau Samah Horse, also known as the Paddy Pony (Kuda Padi), an indigenous horse breed closely associated with Sabah, particularly the district of Kota Belud.
Bred by the Bajau Samah community, this horse is known for its small stature, hardiness, and calm temperament, traits that make it well suited to Sabah's tropical climate. Traditionally, the Bajau Samah Horse played an important role in daily life, serving as a means of transportation and assisting with agricultural activities such as farming and herding cattle and buffalo.
Although modernization has reduced its practical use, the horse remains a strong symbol of Bajau Samah cultural heritage. It represents community identity and pride, especially during the annual Tamu Besar Kota Belud, where horses are decorated in vibrant traditional costumes and riders display inherited horsemanship skills.

Cette discipline requiert une concentration, un équilibre et une précision exceptionnels, témoignant du savoir-faire militaire des civilisations anciennes. Aujourd'hui, le tir à l'arc à cheval connaît un regain de popularité en Malaisie, reconnectant la jeune génération aux traditions historiques et à l'esprit guerrier.
Ce renouveau est impulsé par la Fédération malaisienne de tir à l'arc à cheval (MHAF), instance dirigeante nationale de ce sport. La MHAF est chargée de formaliser la discipline par l'établissement de règles standardisées, l'organisation de championnats nationaux et la coordination et la supervision de la formation dans les centres affiliés à travers le pays, afin de garantir un niveau de qualité constant.
L'autre timbre (1,30 RM) évoque l'équitation d'endurance, une discipline équestre de longue distance qui met à l'épreuve l'endurance physique, la force mentale et la complicité entre le cavalier et sa monture sur des terrains et des distances variés. 
Ce sport est reconnu internationalement et pratiqué en Malaisie à travers des événements et des compétitions officiellement organisés, conformément aux règlements de la Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI).
L'une des caractéristiques distinctives de l'équitation d'endurance est son caractère inclusif, la rendant accessible aux cavaliers de tous âges et de tous niveaux. Des épreuves de courte distance sont proposées comme initiation aux cavaliers plus jeunes ou moins expérimentés, tandis que des épreuves de plus longue distance sont réservées aux participants plus expérimentés et compétitifs. 
The stamp above on the left (50 sen) is devoted to horseback archery, a challenging and prestigious sport that combines the skill of archery with the mastery of horse riding.
This discipline demands a high level of focus, balance, and accuracy, reflecting the military proficiency of past societies. Today, horseback archery is experiencing a revival in Malaysia, reconnecting the modern generation with historical traditions and the spirit of warrior culture.
The resurgence of this sport is led by the Malaysia Horseback Archery Federation (MHAF), which serves as the national governing body for horseback archery. MHAF is responsible for formalizing the sport through the establishment of standardized rules, the organization of national-level championships, and the coordination and supervision of training at affiliated centers across the country to ensure consistent and high-quality standards. 
The other stamp (1,30 RM) features endurance riding, a long-distance equestrian discipline that tests physical endurance, mental fitness, and the close partnership between horse and rider across varied terrains and distances.
This sport is internationally recognized and is also practiced in Malaysia through officially organized events and competitions conducted in accordance with the regulations of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI).
One of the distinctive features of endurance riding is its inclusive nature, making it suitable for riders of different ages and skill levels. Short-distance categories are offered as an introduction for younger or less experienced riders, while longer-distance categories are available for more experienced and competitive participants.

La poste tchèque avait choisi la date très spéciale du 11.12.13 pour émettre une impressionnante feuille composée de 25 timbres personnalisés ("Vlastní známky") autocollants différents, consacrée au 120ème anniversaire du tennis tchèque.

The Czech Post had chosen the very special date of 11.12.13 to issue an impressive sheet consisting of 25 different self-adhesive personalized stamps ("Vlastní známky"), dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Czech tennis.
On October 6, 2021, a new sheet of the same type (also 25 stamps, design: Tomáš Říha, print run: 8,000) was put into circulation, this time celebrating the 100th anniversary of the country's (then Czechoslovakia) first participation in the Davis Cup as well as the 58th anniversary of the women's team's participation in the Fed Cup (renamed the Billie Jean King Cup since 2020).

Le timbre ci-dessus est consacré à Ivan Lendl (né en 1960), joueur de tennis tchécoslovaque naturalisé américain depuis 1992. Professionnel entre 1978 et 1994, Lendl a remporté 94 titres en simple sur le circuit ATP pour un total de 147 titres, dont quinze titres majeurs, incluant huit titres du Grand Chelem (Open d'Australie x 2, Roland Garros x 3, US Open x 3), cinq Masters et deux WCT Finals. 
Meilleur joueur de l'histoire du tennis tchèque, Ivan Lendl est membre de l'International Tennis Hall of Fame depuis 2001. 
A l'occasion de la foire aux collectionneurs "Sběratel" d'Automne ("Podzimní veletrh Sběratel"), organisée à Prague les 5 et 6 septembre 2025, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation plusieurs TADs spéciaux dont un consacré à la Journée du timbre personnalisé ("Den Vlastní známky").
Comme de nombreuses administrations postales, la poste tchèque propose en effet un service ("Vlastní známka") permettant d'imprimer des timbres personnalisés, pour les particuliers et les entreprises.
Ce TAD, conçu par l'agence Double Impact et représentant un timbre de forme hexagonale, a été appliqué sur la lettre ci-dessus.
The stamp above is dedicated to Ivan Lendl (born in 1960), a Czechoslovakian tennis player who became a naturalized American citizen in 1992. A professional player between 1978 and 1994, Lendl won 94 ATP singles titles for a total of 147 titles, including fifteen major titles, among them eight Grand Slam titles (Australian Open x 2, French Open x 3, US Open x 3), five Masters titles, and two WCT Finals.
Considered the greatest player in the history of Czech tennis, Ivan Lendl has been a member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame since 2001. 
On the occasion of the Autumn "Sběratel" Collectors' Fair ("Podzimní veletrh Sběratel"), held in Prague on September 5th and 6th, 2025, the Czech Post put into circulation several special postmarks, including one dedicated to the Own Stamp Day ("Den Vlastní známky").
Like many postal administrations, the Czech Post indeed offers a service ("Vlastní známka") for printing personalized stamps for individuals and businesses.
This postmark, designed by the Double Impact agency and representing a hexagonal stamp, was applied on the envelope above. 

"25th UPAEP Congress - Cascais 2026" stamp set on FDC from Portugal

Série "25ème Congrès de l'UPAEP - Cascais 2026" sur FDC du Portugal 

Pour rappel, l'UPAEP (Union Postale des Amériques, de l'Espagne et du Portugal) est une union restreinte de l'UPU, créée en 1911, regroupant actuellement 29 pays et territoires (le Belize, le dernier en date, depuis 2026, le Portugal depuis 1991).
Depuis plus d'un siècle, l'UPAEP promeut la collaboration entre ses pays membres, favorisant la modernisation des services postaux, l'harmonisation des pratiques et le renforcement d'un territoire postal étendu, fondé sur la confiance. 
A l'image des timbres EUROPA, des timbres UPAEP sont émis chaque année depuis 1989, par une quinzaine de pays, sur un thème commun. 
Le 25ème Congrès de l'UPAEP s'est tenu du 13 au 17 avril 2026 à Cascais, ville située sur le front de l'océan Atlantique, à 25 kilomètres à l'ouest de la capitale Lisbonne. Pour la première fois, l'organe suprême de décision de l'UPAEP s'est réuni sur le sol portugais, confirmant ainsi le rôle du Portugal comme lieu de convergence entre les continents, les cultures et les services postaux, unis par des défis communs. 
As a reminder, the UPAEP (Postal Union of the Americas, Spain, and Portugal) is a restricted union of the UPU, created in 1911, currently comprising 29 countries and territories (Belize, the last one, since 2026, Portugal since 1991).
For over a century, the UPAEP has promoted collaboration among its member countries, fostering the modernization of postal services, the harmonization of practices, and the strengthening of a vast postal territory based on trust.
Like EUROPA stamps, UPAEP stamps are issued each year since 1989 by around fifteen countries, on a common theme.
The 25th UPAEP Congress was held from April 13 to 17, 2026, in Cascais, a city located on the Atlantic coast, 25 kilometers west of the capital, Lisbon. For the first time, the UPAEP's supreme decision-making body met on Portuguese soil, thus confirming Portugal's role as a place of convergence between continents, cultures and postal services, united by common challenges.  

Le 13 avril 2026, la poste portugaise (CTT) a mis en circulation une série (1 timbre + 1 bloc-feuillet, conception : Colmeia Design / Túlio Coelho) consacré à ce 25ème Congrès de l'UPAEP organisé au Portugal.
Ce bloc-feuillet (3,50€, tirage : 18000) et timbre (1,45€, tirage : 40000), imprimés en France par Cartor, ont été utilisés sur la lettre ci-dessus avec TAD Premier Jour de Lisbonne. Merci beaucoup Pedro !
Le logo de l'UPAEP figure sur les 2 timbres, la marge du bloc-feuillet incluant le thème de ce Congrès, "Unir les frontières. Connecter les peuples" ainsi que l'ANACOM (Autorité nationale des communications), l'autorité de régulation postale du Portugal, l'une des plus anciennes d'Europe, en charge de l'organisation de ce Congrès.
Ce Congrès, chargé d'approuver les orientations stratégiques pour chaque cycle quadriennal, a adopté la stratégie de l'UPAEP pour le "Cycle du Portugal", la politique de coopération – l'une des activités principales de l'UPAEP – ainsi que le budget et le plan d'action du Secrétariat général pour le cycle à  venir. 
Le phare de Santa Marta est au cœur de cette série, construit à partir de 1868 (automatisé en 1980) au niveau du Fort de Santa Marta, sur l'estuaire du Tage à Cascais.
A noter que curieusement, le Portugal n'a émis des timbres UPAEP que de 1993 à 2003... et que le prochain Congrès de l'UPAEP aura lieu en 2030 au Brésil. 
On April 13, 2026, the Portuguese Post (CTT) issued a series (1 stamp + 1 souvenir sheet, design: Colmeia Design / Túlio Coelho) commemorating this 25th UPAEP Congress held in Portugal.
This souvenir sheet (€3.50, print run: 18,000) and stamp (€1.45, print run: 40,000), printed in France by Cartor, have been used on the cover above with First Day cancellations from Lisbon. Thank you very much, Pedro!
The UPAEP logo appears on both stamps, and the margin of the souvenir sheet includes the Congress theme, "Uniting Borders. Connecting Peoples," as well as ANACOM (National Communications Authority), the Portugal's postal regulatory authority, one of the oldest in Europe, which was responsible for organizing the Congress.
This Congress, tasked with approving the strategic directions for each four-year cycle, adopted the UPAEP strategy for the "Portugal Cycle," the cooperation policy - one of the UPAEP's main activities - as well as the budget and action plan of the General Secretariat for the upcoming cycle.
The Santa Marta lighthouse is central to this series, built starting in 1868 (automated in 1980) at the Santa Marta Fort, on the Tagus estuary in Cascais.
It is worth noting that, curiously, Portugal only issued UPAEP stamps from 1993 to 2003... and that the next UPAEP Congress will take place in 2030 in Brazil.  

"Prehistoric Fauna - Part II" stamp set on FDC from Kyrgyzstan (KEP)

Série "Faune préhistorique - 2ème partie" sur FDC du Kirghizstan (KEP) 

Le 29 décembre 2025, la Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), le 2ème opérateur postal désigné (l'autre étant la poste kirghize) du Kirghizstan, a mis en circulation une 2ème partie (3 timbres) d'une série initiée en 2024, consacrée à la faune préhistorique et en particulier à des espèces de dinosaures dont des fossiles ont été retrouvés dans la vallée de Fergana (ouest du pays), une large vallée fertile partagée par le Kirghizstan, le Tadjikistan et l'Ouzbékistan.
Ces 3 timbres (tirage : 7500 chacun) figurent sur le FDC officiel ci-dessous (tirage : 400) envoyé depuis Bichkek, la capitale.
L'enveloppe montre la carte du Kirghizstan avec des flèches indiquant les endroits où les fossiles de ces dinosaures ont été découverts.
Il y a des millions d'années, le territoire du Kirghizstan actuel abritait des créatures remarquables, dont les restes aident aujourd'hui les paléontologues à reconstituer le passé lointain de la région. Des fossiles uniques ont été découverts dans les dépôts des périodes jurassique et crétacée, témoignant de la richesse et de la diversité de la faune ancienne de la région.
On December 29, 2025, the Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), the second designated postal operator (the other being the Kyrgyz Post) of Kyrgyzstan, put into circulation a second part (3 stamps) of a series initiated in 2024, dedicated to prehistoric fauna and in particular to dinosaur species whose fossils were found in the Fergana Valley (west of the country), a large fertile valley shared by Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. 
These 3 stamps (print run: 7,500 each) are present on the official FDC below (print run: 400) sent from Bishkek, the capital.
The envelope shows a map of Kyrgyzstan with arrows indicating the locations where the fossils of these dinosaurs have been discovered.
Millions of years ago, the territory of modern Kyrgyzstan was home to remarkable creatures, whose remains today help paleontologists reconstruct the picture of the region's distant past. Unique fossils were discovered in the deposits of the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, reflecting the richness and diversity of the region's ancient fauna.  

Rhamphorhynchinae indet. (50 KGS) est un représentant de l'ordre des Ptérosaures qui vivait il y a environ 160 à 145 millions d'années. Ces reptiles volants anciens se distinguaient par une longue queue terminée par une aile en forme de losange, qui contribuait à stabiliser leur vol. Les Rhamphorhynchines chassaient poissons et petits animaux et vivaient à proximité des points d'eau.
Tashkumyrodon desideratus (150 KGS) est l'un des plus anciens mammifères connus d'Asie. Il vivait il y a environ 163 millions d'années dans la région de l'actuelle Tach-Koumyr. De la taille d'une petite souris, le Tashkumyrodon se nourrissait d'insectes et menait une vie nocturne. Sa découverte représente une contribution importante à l'étude de l'évolution des premiers mammifères.
Alpkarakush kyrgyzicus (300 KGS) est un dinosaure théropode prédateur ayant vécu il y a environ 163 millions d'années. Ses restes ont été découverts dans la formation de Balabansai, dans la région de Tach-Koumyr. Alpkarakush était un prédateur terrestre doté d'un squelette bien développé et de puissants membres postérieurs. Les ossements découverts témoignent d'une structure corporelle typique des théropodes et d'un comportement de prédateur. La découverte de ce fossile est importante pour la paléontologie d'Asie centrale, car elle enrichit la compréhension de la diversité de la faune jurassique de la région et éclaire les liens évolutifs des théropodes avec d'autres groupes de dinosaures prédateurs. 
Rhamphorhynchinae indet. (50 KGS) is a representative of the order Pterosauria that lived approximately 160-145 million years ago. These ancient flying reptiles were distinguished by a long tail ending in a diamond-shaped vane, which helped stabilize their flight. Rhamphorhynchines hunted fish and small animals, inhabiting areas near water bodies.
Tashkumyrodon desideratus (150 KGS) is one of the earliest known mammals in Asia. It lived approximately 163 million years ago in the area of modern Tash-Kumyr. Tashkumyrodon was comparable in size to a small mouse, fed on insects and led a nocturnal lifestyle. Its discovery is an important contribution to the study of early mammalian evolution.
Alpkarakush kyrgyzicus (300 KGS) is a predatory theropod dinosaur that lived approximately 163 million years ago. Its remains were found in the Balabansai Formation in the Tash-Kumyr region. Alpkarakush was a terrestrial predator with a well-developed skeleton and powerful hind limbs. The discovered bones indicate a typical theropod body structure and predatory behavior. The discovery of this fossil is significant for Central Asian paleontology, as it expands the understanding of Jurassic fauna diversity in the region and sheds light on the evolutionary connections of theropods with other groups of predatory dinosaurs.  

Ces 3 timbres, conçus par Daria Maier (en collaboration avec l'Institut de géologie de l'Académie nationale des sciences) et imprimés en Moldavie par Nova Imprim, ont été émis chacun en feuillet composé de 5 timbres + 1 vignette (voir ci-dessus) illustrant les fossiles (dents et squelettes partiels) de ces différents dinosaures découverts au Kirghizstan. 
These three stamps, designed by Daria Maier (in collaboration with the Institute of Geology of the National Academy of Sciences) and printed in Moldova by Nova Imprim, were each issued in a sheetlet composed of 5 stamps + 1 label (see above) illustrating the fossils (teeth and partial skeletons) of these different dinosaurs discovered in Kyrgyzstan.

Une autre espèce, Ferganoceratodus jurassicus, est représentée dans la marge à droite. Il s'agit d'un genre de dipneuste dont les restes ont été découverts dans les dépôts jurassiques du Kirghizstan. Les dipneustes sont connus pour leur capacité unique à utiliser leur vessie natatoire comme un poumon primitif pour respirer l'air atmosphérique. Ainsi, ces poissons possédaient à la fois une respiration branchiale et pulmonaire.

Another species, Ferganoceratodus jurassicus, is featured on the margin to the right. It is a genus of lungfish (Dipnoi) whose remains were discovered in the Jurassic deposits in Kyrgyzstan. Lungfish are known for their unique ability to use their swim bladder as a primitive lung for breathing atmospheric air. Thus, these fish possessed both gill and pulmonary respiration.

"SpongeBob SquarePants" stamp on FDC from Germany

Timbre "Bob l'éponge" sur FDC d'Allemagne 

Le 2 mars 2026, la Deutsche Post a mis en circulation un timbre consacré à Bob l'éponge ("SpongeBob SquarePants"), une série d'animation comique américaine, créée par le biologiste, ancien professeur de biologie marine, et animateur Stephen Hillenburg, diffusée depuis le 1er mai 1999 sur Nickelodeon.
La série raconte les aventures d'une éponge jaune carrée anthropomorphe et de ses amis au fond de l'océan Pacifique dans une ville nommée "Bikini Bottom".
Ce timbre (0,95€), conçu par Ingo Boehm et Jan-Niklas Kröger, imprimé en feuillet de 10 timbres, a été utilisé sur la lettre ci-dessous avec TAD Premier Jour bleu de Bonn. Merci beaucoup Jens ! 
La première diffusion allemande de cette série d'animation a eu lieu le 23 août 2002 sur Super RTL. 
Bob l'éponge est connu pour sa joie de vivre et son optimisme débordants, sa naïveté et sa serviabilité parfois envahissante. Il vit dans un ananas avec son animal de compagnie, l'escargot miaulant Gary.  
On March 2, 2026, the Deutsche Post put into circulation a stamp dedicated to SpongeBob SquarePants, an American animated comedy series created by marine biologist, former professor of marine biology, and animator Stephen Hillenburg, which has aired on Nickelodeon since May 1, 1999.
The series tells the story of an anthropomorphic yellow square sponge and his friends at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean in a city called Bikini Bottom.
This stamp (€0.95), designed by Ingo Boehm and Jan-Niklas Kröger, printed in a sheetlet of 10, was used on the cover below with a blue First Day cancellation from Bonn. Thank you very much, Jens!
The first German broadcast of this animated series took place on August 23, 2002, on Super RTL.
SpongeBob SquarePants is known for his boundless zest for life and optimism, his naivety, and his sometimes overwhelming helpfulness. He lives in a pineapple with his pet, the meowing sea snail Gary.

Sauf erreur, la Deutsche Post est la 2ème administration postale a émettre un timbre consacré à Bob l'éponge, après l'USPS (USA) en 2025.
Jens a utilisé deux autres timbres identiques (0,15€), émis le 1er août 2024, faisant partie de la série courante intitulée "Welt der Briefe" ("Un monde de lettres", conception : Bettina Walter), initiée en décembre 2021, représentant ici un paon dont la roue est constituée de lettres. 
His favorite place is the Krusty Krab, where he works with passion as a fry cook. He has many adventures with his best friend, the lazy starfish Patrick (also featured on the stamp).
Their mutual friend is Sandy Cheeks the Squirrel, a spirited and adventurous Texas squirrel who lives under a glass dome.
Thanks to its unique blend of child-friendly humor and subtle references for adults, the series is considered a true pop culture classic. One of SpongeBob SquarePants' timeless messages is the importance of friendship, celebrated on this stamp.
Furthermore, children can use a tiptoi® pen (from Ravensburger) to immerse themselves in the exciting world of SpongeBob SquarePants and bring it to life. This stamp thus becomes not only a beautiful collector's item, but also a unique listening experience and a reminder of the importance of friendship, underwater as well as on land...
Unless I'm mistaken, the Deutsche Post is the second postal administration to issue a stamp dedicated to SpongeBob SquarePants, after the USPS (USA) in 2025.
