Le 8 janvier 2015, la poste de Taïwan (Chunghwa Post) a mis en circulation une jolie série de 4 timbres consacrée à la vie marine et à différentes espèces de méduses rencontrées au large des côtes du pays en particulier.
Conçues par Jheng Yi-lang, les méduses de cette série ont été imprimées avec une encre fluorescente, les rendant brillantes sous une lumière UV, afin de mettre en évidence la bioluminescence naturelle de ces espèces.
On January 8, 2015, the Post of Taiwan (Chunghwa Post) has released a nice set of four stamps devoted to marine life and to different species of jellyfish encountered off the island's coasts in particular.
Designed by Jheng Yi-lang, the jellyfish in this series were printed with fluorescent ink, making them glow under UV light, in order to highlight the natural bioluminescence of these species.

J'avais déjà évoqué sur ce blog cette méduse Cyanea capillata à travers une série de timbres "faune marine" émise en 2012 à Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.
Sur le timbre de cette série, l'intitulé de cette méduse comportait en effet une erreur ("capilata" au lieu de "capillata")...

I've already mentioned on this blog this Cyanea capillata jellyfish through a series of "marine life" stamps issued in 2012 in Saint Pierre and Miquelon.
On the stamp of this series, the Latin name of this jellyfish was written with an error ("capilata" instead of "capillata")...
A noter sur le FDC ci-dessus ce cachet touristique violet à gauche représentant un pont sur la rivière Dongshan, situé à Ilan, sur la côte nord-est du pays.
