Le 2 avril 2015, la poste thaïlandaise a mis en circulation un timbre (5 baht) consacré au 60ème anniversaire (jour pour jour) de la princesse Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, 3ème enfant du roi Bhumibol Adulyadej, couronné en 1950 sous le nom dynastique de Rama IX, roi de Thaïlande pendant plus de 70 ans, entre 1946 et sa mort en 2016.
Ce timbre a été imprimé en feuillet de 10 timbres, en feuillet de 4 timbres ainsi que dans un bloc-feuillet numéroté (prix de vente : 15 baht) dont celui utilisé sur la jolie lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 7 novembre 2017 (2017 correspondant à l'année 2560 dans le calendrier bouddhiste) du bureau de poste de Suan Phlu à Bangkok. On April 2, 2015, the Thai Post issued a stamp (5 baht) devoted to the 60th anniversary (day to day) of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, the third child of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, crowned in 1950 under the dynastic name of Rama IX, King of Thailand for more than 70 years, between 1946 and his death in 2016.
That stamp has been printed in sheet of 10 stamps, in sheetlet of 4 stamps and in a numbered souvenir sheet (sale price: 15 baht) including the one used on the beautiful letter below sent on November 7, 2017 (2017 corresponding to the year 2560 in the Buddhist calendar) from the Suan Phlu post office in Bangkok. La princesse Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (née en 1955) est le 3ème enfant du roi Rama IX et de la reine Sirikit Kitiyakara (née en 1932), après la princesse Ubol Ratana Rajakanya (née en 1951) et le prince héritier Maha Vajiralongkorn (né en 1952) devenu roi sous le nom de Rama X le 1er décembre 2016.
La princesse Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, très populaire dans son pays en particulier pour ses nombreux projets philanthropiques et humanitaires, aurait pu succéder à son père suite à la révision de la constitution thaïlandaise en 1974.
Son père, Rama IX, est représenté sur le 3ème timbre (9 baht) ci-dessus, faisant partie d'un feuillet de 9 timbres différents émis le 25 octobre 2017 à l'occasion de la cérémonie (fastueuse) de crémation, plus d'un an après sa mort. Je reparlerai prochainement de cette série !

Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (born in 1955) is the third child of King Rama IX and Queen Sirikit Kitiyakara (born in 1932), after Princess Ubol Ratana Rajakanya (born in 1951) and Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn (born in 1952) who became King under the name of Rama X on December 1, 2016.
Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, very popular in her country especially for her many philanthropic and humanitarian projects, could have succeeded her father following the revision of the Thai constitution in 1974.
His father, Rama IX, is represented on the 3rd stamp (9 baht) above, being part of a sheet of 9 different stamps issued on October 25, 2017 on the occasion of the (sumptuous) royal cremation ceremony, more than one year after his death. I will talk about this series again very soon!
