Série EUROPA 2020 (Anciennes routes postales) sur lettre de Saint-Marin

Le 24 mars 2020, l'UFN (Ufficio Filatelico Numismatico) de Saint-Marin a mis en circulation sa série EUROPA illustrant cette année le thème des anciennes routes postales ("antiche tratte postali" en italien).
Merci beaucoup Salvatore pour cette jolie lettre envoyée le 21 juillet 2020 depuis Dogana, la ville la plus peuplée du pays, située à la frontière nord-est avec l'Italie, affranchie avec cette série EUROPA 2020 !
Ces 2 timbres, conçus par Marina Marcolin, ont été imprimés chacun en feuillet de 12 timbres (tirage : 60000 chacun), par Cartor Security Printing (France), avec une encre invisible spéciale fluorescente Pantone et jaune (logo EUROPA, armoiries, valeur faciale, San Marino).
Le rendu de ces parties de couleur orange est malheureusement terne après scan de cette enveloppe. 
On March 24, 2020, San Marino's UFN (Ufficio Filatelico Numismatico) put into circulation its EUROPA series illustrating this year the theme of ancient postal routes ("antiche tratte postali" in Italian). 
Thank you very much Salvatore for this nice letter sent on July 21, 2020 from Dogana, the most populous city in the country, located on the north-east border with Italy, stamped with this EUROPA 2020 stamp set! 
These two stamps, designed by Marina Marcolin, were each printed in a sheetlet of 12 stamps (print run: 60,000 each), by Cartor Security Printing, France, with a special pantone and yellow invisible fluorescent ink (EUROPA logo, coat of arms, nominal value, San Marino). 
The rendering of these parts of orange color is unfortunately dull after scanning this envelope.

 

Cette série au style très poétique, évoque les débuts du système postal en 1607, lorsqu'un postillon était en charge de l'acheminement et de la collecte du courrier à destination et en provenance du bureau de poste de Rimini.
En 1833, un bureau de poste est ouvert à Saint-Marin, mais toujours sans marques postales officielles de la République. Tous les échanges de correspondance continuent à passer par la ville voisine de Rimini. Le traité, signé en 1862 entre Saint-Marin et l'Italie, règle les modalités de ces échanges postaux et, en 1883, est institué un service quotidien de diligences postales entre la République et Rimini.
Le premier timbre ci-dessus (1,10€) montre ce postillon se dirigeant à pied vers le Monte Titano, l'autre timbre (1,15€) représentant son arrivée à la Porta del Paese (ou Porta San Francesco, représentée sur la pièce de 2 cents depuis 2017) dans le centre historique de Saint-Marin.
A noter qu'un bloc-feuillet avait été émis en 2007, consacré au 400ème anniversaire de ce 1er service postal par postillon en 1607.

This very poetic style series evokes the beginnings of the postal system in 1607, when a postilion was in charge of bringing and collecting mail to and from the post office in Rimini.

In 1833, a post office was opened in San Marino, but still without official post marks from the Republic. All correspondence continued to pass through the neighboring town of Rimini. The treaty, signed in 1862 between San Marino and Italy, regulated the modalities of these postal exchanges and, in 1883, a daily postal stagecoach service was established between the Republic and Rimini.

The first stamp above (€ 1.10) shows this postilion going by foot to the Monte Titano, the other stamp (€ 1.15) representing his arrival at the Porta del Paese (or Porta San Francesco, depicted on the 2c coin since 2017) in the historic center of San Marino.

To note that a souvenir sheet was issued in 2007, dedicated to the 400th anniversary of this first postal service by postilion in 1607.
