Joint stamp "50 years of diplomatic relations" with Ivory Coast, on cover from Vatican

Timbre commun "50 ans de relations diplomatiques" avec la Côte d'Ivoire, sur lettre du Vatican

Dans le cadre des célébrations du 50ème anniversaire de l'établissement de relations diplomatiques entre le Saint-Siège et la Côte d'Ivoire, la Cité du Vatican a, pour la première fois de son histoire philatélique, mis en circulation le 10 septembre 2020, un timbre commun avec un pays d'Afrique.
L'accord bilatéral a été signé le 26 octobre 1970 par le pape Paul VI et par le premier président ivoirien Félix Houphouët-Boigny.
Ce timbre commun (2,40€, tirage : 67000), imprimé en feuillet de 10 timbres par Printex (Malte) figure sur cette jolie lettre envoyée le 23 février 2021. Merci beaucoup Salvatore !
J'aime beaucoup ce TAD illustré représentant la basilique Saint-Pierre au cœur de l'état de la Cité du Vatican.  
As part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Holy See and Ivory Coast, the Vatican City, for the first time in its philatelic history, put into circulation on September 10, 2020, a joint stamp with an African country.
The bilateral agreement was signed on October 26, 1970 by Pope Paul VI and the first Ivorian president Félix Houphouët-Boigny.
This joint stamp (€ 2.40, print run: 67,000), printed in sheetlet of 10 stamps by Printex (Malta) was used on this pretty letter sent on February 23, 2021. Thank you very much Salvatore!
I really love this illustrated postmark depicting St. Peter's Basilica in the heart of the State of the Vatican City. 

 

Ce timbre représente au premier plan les portraits des chefs d'état actuels des 2 pays, le pape François et le président de la République Alassane Ouattara.
En arrière-plan se trouve la basilique Notre-Dame de la Paix à Yamoussoukro, la capitale de la Côte d'Ivoire, construite entre 1985 et 1989 avec une architecture basée sur la basilique Saint-Pierre au Vatican.
Considéré comme le plus grand édifice religieux catholique au monde, son emplacement a été choisi par le premier président du pays, Félix Houphouët-Boigny et la basilique a été consacrée par Saint Jean Paul II le 10 septembre 1990.
La poste ivoirienne a mis en circulation 3 timbres et un bloc-feuillet (imprimés en France par Cartor), incluant le même graphisme, avec mention "Cité du Vatican" dans la partie inférieure au lieu de "Côte d'Ivoire"...
