"Banking architecture" stamp set on cover from Albania

Après la réaffirmation de l'indépendance de l'Albanie dans les actes internationaux en 1921, les discussions concernant la banque nationale refirent surface. Les discussions se sont concrétisées à la suite de l'accord signé par Mufid Libohova au nom du gouvernement albanais et Mario Alberti au nom d'un groupe financier italien.
Le siège administratif de la Banque nationale d'Albanie serait à Durrës tandis que le comité administratif siégerait à Rome.
Dans la foulée, la construction de bâtiments pour abriter les services de cette Banque nationale débutèrent en 1927, en particulier dans les villes de Durrës et Korça.
Le 28 avril 2021, la poste albanaise a mis en circulation une intéressante série (4 timbres), initialement prévue en 2020, consacrée à différents édifices historiques du pays ayant abrité la Banque nationale d'Albanie, intitulée "Architecture bancaire en Albanie" ("Arkitektura e bankave në Shqipëri"). 
After Albania's independence was reaffirmed in international acts in 1921, discussions about the national bank resurfaced. The talks came to fruition following the agreement signed by Mufid Libohova on behalf of the Albanian government and Mario Alberti on behalf of an Italian financial group.
The administrative headquarters of the National Bank of Albania would be in Durrës while the administrative committee would sit in Rome.
In the process, the construction of buildings to house the services of this National Bank started in 1927, in particular in the towns of Durrës and Korça.
On April 28, 2021, the Albanian Post put into circulation an interesting series (4 stamps), initially scheduled for 2020, devoted to various historical buildings of the country which housed the National Bank of Albania, entitled "Banking architecture in Albania" ("Arkitektura e bankave në Shqipëri").

 

Conçus par Laert Kraja, ces 4 timbres se-tenant ont été utilisés sur cette  jolie lettre envoyée en recommandé le 29 avril 2021 depuis Tirana, la capitale. Merci beaucoup Sabri !
Ces 4 timbres (tirage : 3000 chacun) ont été imprimés dans un même feuillet composé de 8 timbres (2 de chaque), le timbre à 120 lekë étant également imprimé en feuille de 28 timbres (tirage : 150000).
L'architecte italien Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo (1890-1966) fut sollicité pour la construction de certains de ces édifices bancaires, en particulier l'imposant bâtiment de la Banque nationale à Tirana (1938), et son style rationaliste, représenté sur le timbre à 120 lekë.
Les 3 autres timbres représentent les façades d'édifices situés dans 3 autres villes albanaises, respectivement Vlora (20 lekë), Durrës (30 lekë) et Korça (80 lekë). 

Designed by Laert Kraja, these 4 se-tenant stamps were used on this pretty letter sent by registered mail on April 29, 2021 from Tirana, the capital. Thank you very much Sabri!

These 4 stamps (print run: 3,000 each) were printed in the same sheetlet composed of 8 stamps (2 of each), the 120 lekë stamp being also printed in sheet of 28 stamps (print run: 150,000).

The Italian architect Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo (1890-1966) was asked for the construction of some of these banking buildings, in particular the imposing building of the National Bank in Tirana (1938), and its rationalist style, featured on the 120 lekë stamps.

The other three stamps represent the facades of buildings located in 3 other Albanian towns, respectively Vlora (20 lekë), Durrës (30 lekë) and Korça (80 lekë).
