"Modern composers" stamp set on FDC from Taiwan

Série "Compositeurs contemporains" sur FDC de Taïwan

Le 6 juillet 2022, la Chunghwa Post de Taïwan a mis en circulation une intéressante série (4 timbres) consacrée à différents compositeurs contemporains.
Cette série (12 NT$, timbres imprimés chacun en feuilles de 20 timbres, tirage : 600000 pour chaque timbre), conçue par Delta Design Corporation, figure sur cette jolie lettre envoyée le 1er jour d'émission depuis le district de Yungho, situé dans le sud de New Taipei. Merci beaucoup George !
Le 1er timbre ci-dessous à gauche est consacré à Deng Yu-Shian (1906-1944), compositeur (ethnie des Hakkas) de près d'une centaine d'airs très appréciés, ayant rassemblé des chansons folkloriques et les ayant utilisées dans ses œuvres de telle sorte qu'il est appelé le père de la chanson folklorique taïwanaise. Ses œuvres les plus connues sont "Longing in Separation", "Red throughout Four Seasons", "Moonlit Night Sorrow", "Longing for the Spring Breeze", "Rainy Night Flowers". 
On July 6, 2022, the Chunghwa Post of Taiwan put into circulation an interesting series (4 stamps) dedicated to various modern composers.
This series (12 NT$, stamps printed each in sheets of 20 stamps, print run: 600,000 for each stamp), designed by Delta Design Corporation, was used on this attractive envelope sent on the first day of issue from Yungho district, located in southern New Taipei. Thank you very much George!
The first stamp below on the left is dedicated to Deng Yu-Shian (1906-1944), composer (Hakka ethnicity) of nearly a hundred popular tunes, having collected folk songs and used them in his works in such a way that he is called the father of Taiwanese folk song. His most famous works are "Longing in Separation", "Red throughout Four Seasons", "Moonlit Night Sorrow", "Longing for the Spring Breeze", "Rainy Night Flowers".

 

Le 2ème timbre est consacré à Chou Lan-Ping (1926-1971), ayant composé plusieurs centaines de chansons et musiques de film. Il a remporté les Best Music Awards des Golden Horse Awards et du Asia Pacific Film Festival. Ses partitions célèbres incluent "Green Island Serenade" et "Beautiful Formosa" et la musique des films "The Love Eterne" et "The Boat Girl".
Le 3ème timbre représente Hsu Shih (1919-1980), un compositeur ayant popularisé autant qu'il le pouvait les chansons folkloriques taïwanaises et ayant fondé le Hsu Shih Music Institute. Il a combiné des éléments chinois et occidentaux pour créer "Symphonic Folk Songs of Taiwan". Il est bien connu pour des chansons telles que "Anping Melody", "Night in the City Tainan", "When the Gong Sounds", "Street Lamps at Midnight".
Le dernier timbre est consacré à Yang San-Lang (1919-1989), compositeur ayant formé la Black Cat Song and Dance Troupe pour faire une tournée à Taïwan, en utilisant des accords mineurs et des rythmes blues pour créer un tout nouveau style de chansons pop Hoklo. Parmi ses œuvres les plus connues figurent "Awaiting Your Early Return", "Autumn Wind Midnight Rain", "Lone Flower", "Night Rain in the Harbour".

The last stamp is dedicated to Yang San-Lang (1919-1989), a composer who formed the Black Cat Song and Dance Troupe to tour Taiwan, using minor chords and blues rhythms to create a wholly new style of Hoklo pop songs. Among his most famous works are "Awaiting Your Early Return", "Autumn Wind Midnight Rain", "Lone Flower", "Night Rain in the Harbour".
