"Blatten - Lötschental" charity stamp on FDC from Switzerland

Le 28 mai 2025, la Suisse a vécu une catastrophe naturelle sans précédent lorsque le village de Blatten et le hameau de Ried dans la vallée du Lötschental (canton du Valais) ont été presque entièrement détruits par une avalanche de gravats et de glace suite à l'effondrement du glacier du Birch.
La plupart des quelque 300 habitants, évacués depuis le 19 mai 2025, ont ainsi perdu une partie de leur foyer.
Le 1er août 2025, la poste suisse a mis en circulation un timbre spécial "Blatten - Lötschental" (1,20 CHF) avec surcharge de 5 CHF intégralement reversée à la Croix-Rouge suisse, qui vient en aide à la population de Blatten.
A noter que la poste suisse prend en charge la valeur faciale de 1,20 CHF (l'acheteur ne payant que la surcharge de 5 CHF par timbre).
Ce timbre (conception : Sara Meier, graphiste originaire de la même région - Brigue-Glis), imprimé en feuillet de 8 timbres, représente l'église de Blatten au centre d'un paysage alpin, un symbole d'appartenance, de cohésion et d'espoir.
L'église ancienne de Blatten, néogothique, construite en 1877, a été démolie et remplacée, en 1985, par l'édifice actuel de style moderne et qui contraste avec les autres habitations du village, en bois, remontant jusqu'au 16ème siècle pour certaines. 
On May 28, 2025, Switzerland experienced an unprecedented natural disaster when the village of Blatten and the hamlet of Ried in the Lötschental Valley (canton of Valais) were almost entirely destroyed by an avalanche of rubble and ice following the collapse of the Birch Glacier.
Most of the approximately 300 residents, evacuated since May 19, 2025, lost part of their homes.
On August 1, 2025, Swiss Post issued a special "Blatten - Lötschental" charity stamp (CHF 1.20) with a CHF 5.00 surcharge, donated in full to the Swiss Red Cross, which is helping the population of Blatten.
To note that Swiss Post covers the nominal value of CHF 1.20 (the buyer only pays the CHF 5.00 surcharge per stamp).
This stamp (designed by Sara Meier, a graphic designer from the same region - Brig-Glis), printed in a sheetlet of eight stamps, depicts the Blatten church in the center of an Alpine landscape, a symbol of belonging, cohesion, and hope.
The old Blatten church, neo-Gothic, built in 1877, was demolished and replaced in 1985 by the current modern-style building, which contrasts with the other wooden houses in the village, some of which date back to the 16th century.  

Ce timbre, avec partie de la marge incluant la mention "J'aide - Solidarité pour Blatten" en allemand, français et italien, a été utilisé sur la lettre ci-dessus envoyée le Premier Jour d'émission depuis Berne. Merci beaucoup Jürgen !
Dans les marges de ce feuillet figure également les mots poignants de Mattias Bellwald, président de la commune de Blatten : "Ds Härz schlaat wiiter" ("Le cœur ne s'est pas arrêté de battre" en suisse allemand), qui reflètent la résilience de la population.  
Jürgen a utilisé d'autres timbres pour atteindre le tarif en vigueur pour un envoi en Europe jusqu'à 20g (1,90 CHF), en particulier 2 timbres identiques (0,35 CHF) faisant partie de la jolie série courante (12 timbres, conception : K. Oberli, gravure : M. Muller) émise entre 1986 et 1989, représentant différentes étapes du traitement et transport du courrier, de façon contemporaine ou plus ancienne. 
This stamp, with a margin containing the words "I help - Solidarity for Blatten" in German, French, and Italian, was used on the above cover sent on the First Day of Issue from Bern. Thank you very much, Jürgen!
Also included in the margins of this sheetlet are the poignant words of Mattias Bellwald, president of the municipality of Blatten: "Ds Härz schlaat wiiter" ("The heart has not stopped beating" in Swiss German), which reflect the resilience of the population.
Jürgen used other stamps to achieve the current rate for a shipment in Europe up to 20g (CHF 1.90), in particular two identical stamps (CHF 0.35) belonging to the nice definitive series (12 stamps, design: K. Oberli, engraving: M. Muller) issued between 1986 and 1989, featuring different stages of mail processing and transport, in a contemporary or older way.
