1ère lettre de Trinité et Tobago !

La mauvaise qualité de l'oblitération ne permet malheureusement pas de connaître la date précise d'envoi de cette 1ère lettre postée à Port of Spain, capitale de la république de Trinité et Tobago, deux îles situées au large du Vénézuela...

L'administration postale de Trinité et Tobago (TTPost) n'émet que 4 ou 5 séries de timbres chaque année, ayant souvent des thèmes locaux (patrimoine, flore, faune, sport...).
Ca fait rêver !

The postal administration of Trinidad and Tobago (TTPost) is issuing only four or five series of stamps every year, often with local themes (heritage, flora, fauna, sport...).
What a dream !
Here are some examples on the letter below :

Le timbre a 2,50 $ fait partie d'une série courante de 9 timbres, émis le 14 décembre 2007, représentant des édifices historiques de la capitale Port of Spain.
Ces 9 bâtiments, construits au début du 20ème siècle, sont tous situés autour du principal parc de la capitale, Queen's Park Savannah.
Ce timbre, comme les 8 autres, superpose une photographie récente de l'édifice sur une vue ancienne. Il représente le Queen's Royal College ("QRC"), un établissement scolaire construit en 1904 dans un style victorien. Cet édifice, avec 6 autres, fait partie des "7 merveilles" ("Magnificent Seven"), un groupe de bâtiments historiques de 1er plan.
Les 2 autres timbres ci-dessus font partie d'un carnet de 10 timbres autocollants à 1 $, émis le 1er mai 2005, consacré à des espèces animales marines vivant proche des côtes de l'archipel.
Ils représentent une raie pastenague américaine (Dasyatis americana), commune dans la mer des Caraïbes, et une espèce géante de bernard l'hermite (Paguristes punticeps).
The $ 2.50 stamp is part of a definitive series of nine stamps, issued on December 14, 2007, devoted to different historical buildings of the capital Port of Spain.
These nine buildings, all built in the early 20th century, are all located around the main park of the capital, Queen's Park Savannah.
This stamp, as the other 8, superimposes a recent photograph of the building on an older view. This one is depicting the Queen's Royal College ("QRC"), a secondary school built in 1904 in a Victorian style. This building, with six others, is part of the "Magnificent Seven", a group of remarkable historical buildings in Port of Spain.
The other two stamps above are part of a booklet of ten self-adhesive stamps ($ 1.00 each), issued on 1 May 2005, dedicated to marine animal species living near the coasts of the archipelago.
These two one depict a Southern Stingray (Dasyatis americana), a common species in the Caribbean Sea, and a White Speckled Hermit Crab (Paguristes punticeps).
