J'avais déjà évoqué dans un message précédent ce thème de l'exposition internationale 2012, organisée à Yeosu en Corée du sud du 12 mai au 12 août 2012, à travers l'émission d'un timbre commémoratif émis en Algérie.
La poste coréenne a logiquement émis également (le 11 mai 2012) une série de 4 timbres (se-tenant) consacrée à cette Expo ayant pour thème "Pour des côtes et des océans vivants" avec un focus sur la diversité des ressources marines et les activités durables.
Un haut de feuille (avec 2 bandes horizontales) figure sur le joli FDC ci-dessous (en date du 12 mai 2012) envoyé depuis la ville de Busan. Merci beaucoup Ji-Ho :-)
Les 2 mascottes de cette Expo, Yeony et Suny, figurent dans la marge supérieure de cette feuille ainsi que sur chaque timbre. Elles sont inspirées du plancton, constituant la principale nourriture des poissons et une source de vie des océans et des côtes. La couleur bleue de Yeony symbolise la mer et les ressources en eaux profondes alors que la couleur rouge de Suny évoque les espèces vivantes de la mer et de la terre.
I had already mentioned in a previous post this theme of the 2012 International Exhibition held in Yeosu, Korea from May 12 to August 12, 2012, through the issue of a commemorative stamp issued in Algeria.
The Korean Post has also logically issued (on May 11, 2012) a series of four stamps (se-tenant) dedicated to that Expo having for theme "The Living Ocean and Coast" with a focus on the diversity of marine resources and sustainable activities.
A top sheet (with two horizontal strips) appears on the nice FDC below (dated May 12, 2012) sent from the city of Busan. Thank you very much Ji-Ho :-)
The two mascots of the Expo, Yeony and Suny, are included in the top margin of this sheet as well as on each stamp. They are inspired by plankton, constituting the main food for fish and also a living source of oceans and coasts. Yeony's blue color symbolizes sea and deep sea resources while the Suny's red color evokes living species of sea and earth. 
Le logo officiel de cette Expo 2012, évoquant l'harmonie entre la terre et les océans et l'équilibre des écosystèmes de la planète, figure également sur chaque timbre.
Chacun de ces 4 timbres est consacré aux installations les plus spectaculaires : le pavillon de la Corée qui fait découvrir aux visiteurs la "force maritime des coréens" (l'intérieur du pavillon inclut le plus grand écran dôme du monde), le pavillon thématique consacré au thème de cette Expo (un pavillon construit sur la mer pour la 1ère fois), le Big-O, le lieu symbolique de l'Expo (expositions et spectacles multimédias) et la tour du ciel (l'édifice le plus haut de l'Expo), un espace culturel et artistique construit à partir d'anciens silos à ciment.
Sauf erreur de ma part, seules les administrations postales d'Algérie et de la Principauté de Monaco ont également émis des timbres consacrés à cette Expo 2012 à Yeosu...
The official logo of that Expo 2012 Yeosu, evoking the harmony between land and oceans as well as the balance of the planet's ecosystems, also appears on each stamp.
Each of these four stamps is dedicated to the most spectacular landmarks : the Korea Pavilion that introduces visitors to the "maritime force of Korean people" (the largest dome screen in the world was built inside this pavilion), the Theme Pavilion devoted to the topic of this Expo (a pavilion built on the sea for the first time), the Big-O, the symbolic place of that Expo (multimedia shows and exhibitions) and the Sky Tower (the tallest building of this Expo), a cultural and artistic space built from a deserted cement storehouse.
If I'm not wrong, the postal administrations of Algeria and the Principality of Monaco are also the two other only ones having issued stamps devoted to this Expo 2012 Yeosu...
