Dans un message publié sur ce blog le 22 juillet 2012, je vous présentais le FDC du 9 juin 2012 (avec TAD Premier Jour de Paris) concernant le bloc-feuillet de 2 timbres émis par la Principauté de Monaco, conjointement avec les TAAF.
Pour rappel, ce bloc commun (une première concernant les TAAF avec un pays étranger) était consacré à certains sites de l'archipel des Kerguelen évoquant le prince Albert Ier de Monaco (1848-1922), surnommé le "Prince navigateur" et fondateur du musée océanographique de Monaco.
In a message posted on this blog on July 22, 2012, I shared with you the FDC of June 9th 2012 (with FDC postmark from Paris) about the souvenir sheet of two stamps issued by the Principality of Monaco, a joint issue with the TAAF (French Southern and Antarctic Lands).
As a reminder, this joint sheet (a first for the TAAF with a foreign country) was devoted to some sites of the Kerguelen islands evoking the Prince Albert I of Monaco (1848-1922), nicknamed the "Navigator's Prince" and founder of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco.
Dans mon message du 22 juillet, j'évoquais les approximations de ce bloc, en particulier l'illustration du navire "Princesse Alice II" dans la marge inférieure...
J'ai également reçu récemment le FDC ci-dessus avec la version de ce même bloc-feuillet émis par les TAAF. A noter le TAD Premier Jour des Kerguelen reprenant le visuel d'un des 2 timbres de ce bloc représentant un pétrel géant (Macronectes giganteus).
A noter ci-dessus la marque rectangulaire de rigueur incluant le nom de la base de Port-aux-Français et ses coordonnées géographiques.

I've also recently received the FDC above with the version of that same souvenir sheet issued by the TAAF. To note the FDC cancellation from the Kerguelen islands including the design of one of the two stamps of this sheet featuring a Southern Giant Petrel (Macronectes giganteus).
To note above the rectangular inkmark, including the name of the station of Port-aux-Français and its geographic coordinates.
