Le 15 avril 2015, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation 2 nouveaux timbres consacrés respectivement à la 6ème exposition philatélique germano-tchèque organisée à Chomutov (25 CZK) et aux prochains championnats du monde de hockey sur glace organisés du 1er au 17 mai 2015 à Prague et Ostrava.
Ce sont ces 2 timbres qui figurent en haut à droite sur cette jolie lettre ci-dessous, envoyée en recommandé le 1er jour d'émission de Prague. Merci beaucoup Bret :-)

On April 15, 2015, the Czech Post has released two new stamps devoted respectively to the 6th Czech-German philatelic exhibition in Chomutov (25 CZK) and to the next Ice Hockey World Championships organized from 1 to 17 May 2015 in Prague and Ostrava.
These two stamps were used at the top right on this nice cover below, sent by registered mail on the first day of issue from Prague. Thank you very much Bret :-)
I will write soon with more detail about these two stamps on this blog, through the associated FDCs and commemorative sheets received.
Bret a complété son affranchissement ci-dessus avec 2 timbres émis en 2013 dont j'ai déjà parlé sur ce blog : championnats du monde de canoë-kayak (slalom) émis le 4 septembre et bateau remorqueur à vapeur "Péčko-18", faisant partie d'une série consacrée à des moyens de transport historiques émis le 6 mars.
Bret also used above two other stamps issued in 2013 about which I have already spoken on this blog : ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships issued on September 4th and steam tugboat "Péčko-18", being part of a series devoted to historical means of transport, issued on March 6th.

Celui ci-dessus a été émis à l'occasion du 130ème anniversaire de la naissance de Václav Vilém Štech (1885-1974), historien d'art et professeur à l'académie des beaux-arts de Prague.
Le TAD spécial, conçu par Jan Maget, a été mis en circulation à Slaný, sa ville natale, du 30 mars au 10 avril 2015.
Le timbre utilisé ci-dessus (51 CZK) a été émis 28 mai 2008 dans un bloc-feuillet évoquant l'exposition philatélique internationale PRAGA 2008. Ce timbre évoque le jardin Ledeburk (début du 18ème siècle), un des nombreux jardins situés sous le château de Prague, que Václav Vilém Štech connaissait très bien.
A noter que ce feuillet a été émis à seulement 1700 exemplaires (numérotés de 111201 à 112900).

The first one above was issued to mark the 130th anniversary of the birth of Václav Vilém Štech (1885-1974), art historian and professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.
The special postmark, designed by Jan Maget, was put into circulation in Slaný, his hometown, from 30 March to 10 April 2015.
The stamp used above (51 CZK) was issued on May 28, 2008 in a souvenir sheet dedicated to the international philatelic exhibition "PRAGA 2008". That stamp features the Ledeburk garden (early 18th century), one of the several gardens located under the Prague Castle, that Václav Vilém Štech knew very well.
To note that this sheet was issued only at 1.700 copies (numbered from 111,201 to 112,900).
Pour la 22ème année, la poste tchèque a réalisé, en collaboration avec le magazine "Filatelie", une enquête publique pour désigner le plus beau timbre émis en 2014.
Avec 1181 voix (sur 7553), c'est le timbre (émis le 28 mai 2014) consacré à un des tableaux les plus connus du château de Prague, "l'Assemblée des dieux sur le Mont Olympe" par Pierre Paul Rubens (1577-1640), qui a remporté cette élection.
A cette occasion, la poste tchèque a émis le feuillet spécial numéroté ci-dessus, incluant une gravure de ce timbre (par Miloš Ondráček).
Pour être exhaustif, le timbre arrivé en 2ème position est "loups et cassenoix moucheté" faisant partie du bloc-feuillet consacré au massif montagneux des Beskides, avec 1119 voix, et le 3ème est "Rue en hiver" du peintre Jakub Schikaneder (1855-1924) avec 1067 voix.
For the 22th year, the Czech Post has organized, in collaboration with the "Filatelie" magazine, a public survey to designate the most beautiful stamp issued in 2014.
With 1,181 votes (out of 7,553), the stamp (issued on May 28, 2014) devoted to one of the most famous paintings of Prague Castle, "Assembly of Olympian Gods" by Peter Paul Rubens (1577 -1640), won this election.

To be exhaustive, the stamp arrived in 2nd position is "Wolves and Spotted nutcracker" being part of the souvenir sheet dedicated to the Beskid mountains, with 1,119 votes, and the third one is "Street in Winter" by painter Jakub Schikaneder (1855- 1924), with 1,067 votes.
