Sultan of Johor's Coronation in Malaysia

Couronnement du sultan de Johor en Malaisie

Suite à la mort de son père, le sultan Iskandar (qui fut roi de Malaisie entre 1984 et 1989) le 22 janvier 2010, son fils, Ibrahim Ismail (né en 1958) est devenu officiellement le 25ème sultan de l'état de Johor, situé au sud de la péninsule malaise.
Le 23 mars 2015, à l'occasion de son couronnement, la poste malaisienne a mis en circulation une série de 3 timbres (60 sen, 80 sen, 1 RM), imprimée en France par Cartor Security Printing, représentant le sultan dans ses tenues officielles, militaires et civiles.

Following the demise of his father, Sultan Iskandar (who was King of Malaysia between 1984 and 1989) on January 22, 2010, his son, Ibrahim Ismail (born in 1958) officially became the 25th Sultan of the state of Johor, located south of the Malay Peninsula.
On March 23, 2015, on the occasion of his coronation, the Malaysian Post has released a series of 3 stamps (60 sen, 80 sen, 1 RM), printed in France by Cartor Security Printing, featuring the Sultan in his official attires, military and civil.

Le TAD Premier Jour représente le monogramme du sultan Ibrahim Ismail, père de 6 enfants, dont Tunku Ismail Idris (né en 1984), prince héritier de Johor.
En 2012, il déclara la ville de Muar comme étant la nouvelle capitale royale, Johor Bahru étant la capitale administrative de l'état de Johor (le palais royal (Istana Besar) y étant situé).
Le sultan Ibrahim Ismail est connu car il est pilote d'avion, dispose d'une licence pour conduire un train et est à l'origine (depuis 2001) du "Kembara Mahkota Johor", une expédition en moto annuelle à travers les 10 districts de l'état de Johor.
Cette opération (environ 1000 km sur 3 à 4 jours) permet ainsi au sultan de rencontrer les populations locales et de mener des oeuvres caritatives.

In 2012, he declared the town of Muar as the new royal capital, Johor Bahru being the administrative capital of the state of Johor (Royal Palace (Istana Besar) being located there).
Sultan Ibrahim Ismail is well known because he is an aircraft pilot, has a license to drive a train and is at the origin (since 2001) of the "Kembara Mahkota Johor", an annual motorcycle tour through the 10 districts of the state of Johor.
This operation (approximately 1000 km over 3-4 days) allows the Sultan to meet local people as well as to provide charity for the poor.
