65 ans de relations diplomatiques avec la Russie au Myanmar

L'URSS a officiellement établi des relations diplomatiques avec le Myanmar (la Birmanie à l'époque) en 1948, l'année de l'indépendance du pays (du Royaume-Uni).
Pour commémorer le 65ème anniversaire de l'établissement de ces relations diplomatiques (avec la Russie aujourd'hui), l'administration postale de la République de l'Union du Myanmar a mis en circulation, le 10 avril 2013, un timbre spécial (500 kyats) au format panoramique.
C'est ce timbre qui a été utilisé pour affranchir la lettre ci-dessous, postée de Rangoun (Yangon), la capitale du pays jusqu'en 2007, le 22 avril 2015. Merci beaucoup Edna :-)
The USSR officially established diplomatic relations with Myanmar (Burma at the time) in 1948, the year of its independence (from UK).
To commemorate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of these diplomatic relations (with Russia today), the postal administration of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar put into circulation on 10 April 2013, a special stamp (500 kyat) with a panoramic format.
It is that stamp which was used to frank the letter below, posted in Rangoon (Yangon), the country's capital until 2007, on April 22, 2015. Thank you very much Edna :-)

Ce timbre, arborant les couleurs (jaune, vert, rouge) du drapeau national adopté en 2010, n'est toutefois pas une émission commune avec la poste russe.
Au cours de ces 65 années, l'URSS puis la Russie ont été plutôt un allié du Myanmar, la Russie s'opposant souvent à des sanctions (au conseil de sécurité des Nations Unies) contre la junte au pouvoir ou signant un accord controversé (en 2007) de coopération dans le domaine de la recherche nucléaire...
Ce timbre représente des édifices emblématiques de Moscou à droite (basilique de Basile le Bienheureux sur la Place Rouge, tour Spasskaïa du Kremlin) et, sauf erreur de ma part, la célèbre pagode Shwedagon se reflétant dans le lac Kandawgyi à Rangoun, à gauche.
That stamp, bearing the colors (yellow, green, red) of the national flag, adopted in 2010, however is not a joint issue with the Russian Post.
During these 65 years, the USSR and then Russia were rather an ally of Myanmar, Russia often opposing placing sanctions (in the UN Security Council) against the ruling junta or signing a controversial cooperation deal (in 2007) in the field of nuclear research...
That stamp is featuring some landmarks of Moscow to the right (Saint Basil's Cathedral on Red Square, Kremlin's Spasskaya Tower) and, if I'm not wrong, the famous Shwedagon Pagoda reflecting in the Kandawgyi Lake in Rangoon, to the left.
