Le 1er janvier 2016, la poste française a simplifié l'usage des timbres-poste courants à usage permanent, en fusionnant certaines tranches de poids (elle passent de 8 à 5 : 0-20g, 21g-100g, 101g-250g, 251g-500g et 501g-3kg par exemple pour les tarifs domestiques "Lettre Prioritaire" et "Lettre Verte") et en instaurant des tarifs pour chaque tranche correspondant à des multiples du tarif de base (0-20g).
Ainsi, avec ce système proche de ce qui existe en Belgique par exemple, l'usager devra utiliser 1 timbre pour la tranche 0-20g, 2 timbres pour la tranche 21g-100g, 4 timbres pour la tranche 101g-250g, 6 timbres pour la tranche 251g-500g et 8 timbres pour la tranche 501g-3kg...
A noter que seules les 3 premières tranches sont autorisées pour le timbre "Ecopli" et 5 tranches (501g-2kg pour la dernière) existent également pour les tarifs "Europe" et "Monde".
On January 1, 2016, the French Post has simplified the use of definitive permanent postage stamps, merging some weight categories (from 8 to 5 : 0-20g, 21g-100g, 101g-250g, 251g-500g and 501g-3kg for example for the domestic "Priority Letter" and "Green Letter" rates) and introducing postal rates for each weight category corresponding to multiples of the basic rate (0-20g).
Thus, with this system similar to what exists in Belgium for example, customers will have to use one stamp for the 0-20g category, two stamps for the 21g-100g category, 4 stamps for the 101g-250g category, 6 stamps for the 251g-500g category and 8 stamps for the 501g-3kg category...
To note that only the first three weight categories are allowed for the domestic rate "Ecopli" and 5 categories (501g-2kg for the last one) also exist for the rates "Europe" and "World".
Ce nouveau système s'est accompagné d'une nouvelle hausse du prix du timbre (1ère tranche 0-20g) : 0,68€ pour l'Ecopli, 0,70€ pour la Lettre Verte, 0,80€ pour la Lettre Prioritaire, 1€ pour l'Europe et 1,25€ pour le reste du monde.
Cette réforme a donc également entrainé l'émission de nouveaux timbres courants "Marianne et la jeunesse" à validité permanente, sans mention de poids, ainsi que le retrait de certains autres, comme les timbres avec mention de poids 50g (puisque cette tranche a été fusionnée dans celle de 21g-100g).
Ce 1er janvier 2016, ces nouveaux timbres ont été mis en circulation, comme les exemples de timbres de roulette ci-dessus (Lettre Verte et Lettre Prioritaire), sans la mention du poids en bas à gauche.
Un grand merci Joël pour ce joli pli, oblitéré avec le TAD de Paris émis spécialement à cette occasion, mentionnant les 3 premières tranches de poids.
A noter également ce cachet manuel "PIC PARIS NORD - 95504 GONESSE CX" appliqué le 4 janvier 2016...
The new system was accompanied, once again !, by a price increase of the first postal rate (0-20g) : € 0.68 for Ecopli, € 0.70 for Green Letter, € 0.80 for Priority Letter , € 1.00 for Europe and € 1.25 for the rest of the world.
This reform has also led to the issue of new definitive "Marianne and youth" permanent stamps, without any mention of weight, as well as the withdrawal of other ones, such as stamps mentioning the 50g weight category (merged into the 21g-100g category).
This January 1, 2016, these new stamps were put into circulation such as the examples above (Green Letter and Priority Letter coil stamps here), with no indication of weight at the bottom left.
