Le 17 novembre 2015, la poste de Malaisie a mis en circulation la 3ème partie (4 timbres et 1 bloc-feuillet) d'une série consacrée à des îles et plages du pays, une incitation à l'évasion et au rêve, au large des côtes de la péninsule malaise ou du nord de l'île de Bornéo.
Un grand merci Khor pour ces 2 FDCs officiels concernant respectivement ces 4 timbres (2 paires de timbres se-tenant) et ce bloc-feuillet, avec TAD d'Ipoh (état de Perak) !
Chacun de ces timbres (imprimés en France par Cartor Security Printing) montre une vue aérienne de l'île ainsi qu'une vue d'une partie de l'île depuis la mer, ainsi que la diversité des fonds marins.
On November 17, 2015, the Post of Malaysia has released the third part (4 stamps and 1 souvenir sheet) of a series devoted to islands and beaches in the country, an incentive to escape and dream, off the coast of the Malay peninsula or north of the island of Borneo.
A big thank you Khor for these two official FDCs regarding respectively these 4 stamps (2 pairs of se-tenant stamps) and this souvenir sheet with postmarks from Ipoh (state of Perak) !
Each of these stamps (printed in France by Cartor Security Printing) shows an aerial view of the island as well as a view of a part of the island from the sea, and the diversity of the seabed.
La paire de timbre à 70 sen est consacrée au parc marin de l'île Pulau Tenggol (état de Terengganu) situé en mer de Chine méridionale (28 km de Kuala Dungun), inhabitée avec 4 lieux de séjour pour touristes, prisée pour la plongée avec des fonds marins incluant des récifs coraliens, des baleines, tortues ou raies manta, et au parc marin de l'île Pulau Tinggi (au nord-est au large de l'état de Johor) et sa biodiversité importante (plus de 230 espèces de coraux, 300 espèces de poissons et des algues prisées par le dugong en voie de disparition), peuplé par 164 habitants.
Les 2 autres timbres se-tenant (80 sen) montrent le parc marin de l'île Pulau Sembilang (état de Pahang), inhabitée et l'île de Pulau Satang (état de Sarawak) avec son centre de protection des tortues marines et la présence de nombreuses espèces d'oiseaux (sternes...).
The pair of 70 sen stamp is devoted to the Pulau Tenggol Marine Park (state of Terengganu) located in the South China Sea (28 km from Kuala Dungun), uninhabited with four resorts, prized for scuba with seabed including coral reefs, whales, turtles and manta rays, and Pulau Tinggi Marine Park (northeast off the state of Johor) and its high biodiversity (more than 230 species of coral, 300 species of fish and seaweed prized by the endangered dugong), populated by 164 inhabitants.
The other two se-tenant stamps (80 sen) show the uninhabited Pulau Sembilang Marine Park (state of Pahang) and the island of Pulau Satang (state of Sarawak) with its center for the protection of marine turtles and the presence of many species of birds (terns...).
Le bloc-feuillet (3 RM) ci-dessus est consacré à l'île de Pulau Mataking (état de Sabah) situé en mer de Célèbes, moins connue que l'île voisine de Sipadan et ses spots de plongée.
L'île de Mataking bénéficie toutefois d'eaux très claires et de fonds marins habités par de nombreuses espèces de poissons, des hippocampes, des requins-baleines ou des tortues marines.
L'île représentée à gauche sur ces enveloppes est Pulau Perak (état de Kedah), le lieu proche où le vol 370 de la Malaysian Airlines a disparu des radars en mars 2014...
The souvenir sheet (RM 3) above is devoted to the island of Pulau Mataking (state of Sabah) located in the Celebes Sea, less known than the neighboring island of Sipadan and its diving spots.
Mataking island has however some very clear waters and seabed inhabited by many species of fish, seahorses, whale sharks or sea turtles.
The island shown on the left on these envelopes is Pulau Perak (state of Kedah), the nearest place where the Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 disappeared off the Malaysian radar in March 2014...
