Afin de célébrer la désignation du plus beau timbre et de la plus belle oblitération de l'année 2016, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation 2 documents philatéliques spéciaux, j'en reparle plus loin...
Bret a eu la gentillesse de m'envoyer ces documents dans la jolie lettre ci-dessous, envoyée en recommandé de Prague le 5 avril 2017, premier jour d'émission des 2 timbres utilisés pour l'affranchir.
Le timbre en 3 exemplaires (20 CZK), imprimé en feuillet composé de 8 timbres, fait partie de la jolie série "Beautés de notre pays", un paysage typique de la région de Porta Bohemica ici.
L'autre timbre (32 CZK) célèbre les 80 ans de l'aéroport Vaclav Havel de Prague. J'évoquerai ces 2 timbres plus en détails dans un prochain article.
In order to celebrate the designation of the most beautiful stamp and the most beautiful cancellation of the year 2016, the Czech Post has put into circulation two special philatelic documents about which I talk further...
Bret was kind enough to send me these documents inside the great letter below, sent by registered mail from Prague on April 5, 2017, the first day of issue of the two stamps used for the postage.
The stamp in 3 copies (20 CZK), printed in sheet of 8 stamps, is part of the beautiful series "Beauties of Our Country", a typical landscape of Porta Bohemica region here.
The other stamp (32 CZK) celebrates the 80th anniversary of Prague's Vaclav Havel Airport. I will write about these 2 stamps in more detail in a next article.
Pour la 24ème année, la poste tchèque a réalisé, en collaboration avec le journal "Právo" et le magazine "Filatelie", une enquête publique pour désigner le plus beau timbre émis en 2016.
Avec 1149 voix (sur 7374), c'est le timbre (émis le 4 mai 2016) consacré au 700ème anniversaire de la naissance de Charles IV (1316-1378), roi de Bohême et empereur du Saint-Empire romain-germanique, qui a remporté cette élection.
A cette occasion, la poste tchèque a émis le feuillet spécial numéroté ci-dessous (je ne connais pas le tirage exact ?), incluant une gravure (par Miloš Ondráček) de ce timbre conçu par Jan Kavan.
Pour être exhaustif, le timbre arrivé en 2ème position est le timbre commun République Tchèque-Liechtenstein "Une jeune femme sur un balcon" par Gerrit Dou (émis le 7 septembre 2016) avec 991 voix, et le 3ème est un des 2 timbres du bloc-feuillet "1916, lutte pour l'indépendance" (émis le 12 octobre 2016) avec 867 voix.
For the 24th consecutive year, the Czech Post, together with the newspaper "Právo" and the magazine "Filatelie", carried out a public survey to designate the most beautiful stamp issued in 2016.
With 1149 votes (out of 7374), the stamp (issued on May 4, 2016) dedicated to the 700th anniversary of the birth of Charles IV (1316-1378), King of Bohemia and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, won this election.
On this occasion, the Czech Post has issued the special numbered sheet below (I do not know the exact print run ?), including an engraving (by Miloš Ondráček) of that stamp designed by Jan Kavan.
To be exhaustive, the stamp in second position is the Czech Republic-Liechtenstein joint stamp "A young woman on a balcony" by Gerrit Dou (issued on September 7, 2016) with 991 votes, and the third best stamp is one of the 2 stamps of the souvenir sheet "The 1916 Fight for Czech Statehood" (issued on October 12, 2016) with 867 votes.
Lors de cette même enquête, les votants devaient désigner l'oblitération la plus réussie mise en circulation en 2016.
C'est le TAD conçu par Alex Dowis et mis en circulation le 18 mai 2016, consacré à la petite fée Amálka ("Víla Amálka" en tchèque), un personnage d'une série télévisée d'animation tchécoslovaque créée en 1975, qui a été choisi.
A noter que ce TAD est différent du TAD Premier Jour concernant le timbre associé (tarif permanent "A") émis le 18 mai 2016.
In that same survey, voters had to also designate the most beautiful cancellation put into circulation in 2016.
The postmark designed by Alex Dowis and put into circulation on May 18, 2016, dedicated to the little Fairy Amálka ("Víla Amálka" in Czech), a character of a Czechoslovak animated television series created in 1975, was chosen.
To note that this postmark is different from the FDC cancellation regarding the associated stamp (permanent rate "A") issued on May 18, 2016.
A cette occasion, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation cette enveloppe spéciale ci-dessus incluant ce timbre autocollant et le TAD gagnant.
On this occasion, the Czech Post has put into circulation this special envelope above including this self-adhesive stamp and the winning postmark.
