Le 8 août 2018, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation un intéressant bloc-feuillet (3 timbres) consacré au 100ème anniversaire de la création du musée postal ("Sto let Poštovního muzea").
Conçus par Jan Maget and Eva Hašková et gravés par Václav Fajt, ces 3 timbres rendent hommage à des personnalités importantes associées à l'histoire de ce musée postal (de gauche à droite) : Václav Dragoun (1865-1950), chef de la poste tchèque et premier directeur du musée (entre 1918 et 1925), Jiří Karásek (1871-1951), inspecteur postal, auteur et poète, second directeur du musée de la poste (entre 1925 et 1933) et Pavel Čtvrtník (1947-2008), directeur du musée pendant 30 ans (entre 1977 et 2007), auteur de nombreuses publications professionnelles.

On August 8, 2018, the Czech Post put into circulation an interesting miniature sheet (3 stamps) dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Postal Museum ("Sto let Poštovního muzea").
Designed by Jan Maget and Eva Hašková and engraved by Václav Fajt, these 3 stamps pay tribute to important figures associated with the history of this postal museum (from left to right): Václav Dragoun (1865-1950), Czech Chief Post Officer and the first Postal Museum's director (between 1918 and 1925), Jiří Karásek (1871-1951), postal inspector, a well-known author and decadent poet, working as the second Postal Museum's director (between 1925 and 1933) and Pavel Čtvrtník (1947-2008), director of the museum for 30 years (between 1977 and 2007), author of numerous professional publications.

Les marges de ce bloc-feuillet, avec mention de l'exposition philatélique internationale "PRAGA 2018", évoquent les différents édifices ayant accueilli ce musée postal depuis 1918, en particulier la maison baroque (décorée de peintures murales de Josef Navrátil), en bas à droite, siège de ce musée à Prague depuis 1988.
On retrouve également l'ancien monastère Saint-Gabriel dans le quartier de Smíchov à Prague (siège du musée à partir de 1933) et l'ancien monastère cistercien de Vyšší Brod où une exposition sur l'histoire postal a été organisée en 1976.
Différentes diligences postales ainsi qu'un avion, faisant partie des collections de ce musée postal sont représentés, avec également une évocation du 1er timbre tchécoslovaque émis le 18 décembre 1918 (jour d'ouverture du musée) représentant une vue du château de Prague avec la cathédrale Saint-Guy, une œuvre du célèbre peintre et illustrateur Alfons Mucha (1860-1939).
The margins of this miniature sheet, with mention of the international philatelic exhibition "PRAGA 2018", evoke the different buildings that have hosted this Postal Museum since 1918, in particular the Baroque house (decorated with murals by Josef Navrátil), at the bottom right, seat of this Museum in Prague since 1988.
There is also the former St. Gabriel monastery in the Smíchov district of Prague (seat of the Museum from 1933) and the old Cistercian monastery of Vyšší Brod where an exhibition on postal history was organized in 1976.
Various postal stagecoaches as well as an airplane, belonging to the collections of this Postal Museum are represented, with also an evocation of the first Czechoslovak stamp issued on December 18, 1918 (opening day of the Museum) depicting a view of Prague Castle with the St. Vitus Cathedral, a work of the famous painter and illustrator Alfons Mucha (1860-1939).
Ce 1er timbre tchécoslovaque est également évoqué de façon stylisée sur le TAD du premier FDC officiel ci-dessus concernant le timbre consacré à Václav Dragoun (19 CZK), avec une gravure représentant le monastère Saint-Gabriel à Prague.
Une diligence postale est représentée sur le 2ème TAD ci-dessous, sur un FDC avec gravure consacrée au monastère cistercien de Vyšší Brod, et timbre avec portrait de Jiří Karásek (23 CZK).
Le 3ème FDC avec timbre consacré à Pavel Čtvrtník (27 CZK) comporte un TAD évoquant une boîte aux lettres ancienne et une gravure montrant l'édifice actuel du musée postal à Prague, avec un tour (17ème siècle) qui servait de château d'eau ("Novomlýnská vodárenská věž") à droite et le clocher de l'église Saint-Clément (14ème et 15ème siècle) à gauche.
Ces 3 FDCs ont été édités à 3600 exemplaires chacun.
This first Czechoslovak stamp is also stylized on the cancellation of the first official FDC above concerning the stamp dedicated to Václav Dragoun (19 CZK), with an engraving depicting the St. Gabriel Monastery in Prague.
A postal coach is featured on the 2nd postmark below, on a FDC with an engraving dedicated to the Cistercian monastery of Vyšší Brod, and stamp with portrait of Jiří Karásek (23 CZK).
The 3rd FDC with stamp dedicated to Pavel Čtvrtník (27 CZK) features a cancellation evoking an old letter box and an engraving showing the current building of the postal museum in Prague, with a tower (17th century) that served as a water tower ("Novomlýnská vodárenská věž") on the right and the bell tower of St. Clement Church (14th and 15th century) on the left.
These 3 FDCs were edited with 3,600 copies each.
