Le 23 mai 2019, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation un TAD spécial consacré au 70ème anniversaire (jour pour jour) de la naissance de Libuše Knotková (fille du graveur Ladislav Jirka), artiste, peintre, illustratrice et conceptrice de timbres, souvent en collaboration avec son époux Jaromír Knotek.
Conçu par Jan Kavan, ce TAD, mis en circulation par le bureau principal de Prague 1, a été appliqué sur la jolie lettre ci-dessous. Merci beaucoup Slavek !
Slavek a utilisé un des 4 timbres (12 CZK) composant le bloc-feuillet (conçu par Libuše et Jaromír Knotek) émis le 5 septembre 2007, consacré à la région des Carpates blanches et en particulier à la réserve de la biosphère de l'UNESCO.
A noter cette vignette de complément (27 CZK) afin d'atteindre le tarif en vigueur (39 CZK) pour un envoi prioritaire jusqu'à 50g vers les pays européens.
On May 23, 2019, the Czech Post issued a special postmark dedicated to the 70th anniversary (day to day) of the birth of Libuše Knotková (daughter of the engraver Ladislav Jirka), artist, painter, illustrator and stamp designer, often in collaboration with her husband Jaromír Knotek.
Designed by Jan Kavan, this postmark, put into circulation by the Prague 1 main post office, has been applied on the nice letter below. Thank you very much Slavek!
Slavek used one of the 4 stamps (12 CZK) of the souvenir sheet (designed by Libuše and Jaromír Knotek) issued on September 5, 2007, dedicated to the White Carpathians region and in particular to the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
To note this additional label (27 CZK) to reach the current tariff (39 CZK) for a priority shipment up to 50g to European countries.
Ce timbre représente un paysage typique de cette région de moyenne montagne située à la frontière entre la République tchèque et la Slovaquie, avec un rollier d'Europe (l'oiseau choisi cette année sur le timbre EUROPA slovaque) et des fleurs de gymnadène à épi dense au 1er plan.
Cette réserve de la biosphère est en particulier caractérisée par la présence de nombreuses espèces d'orchidées comme le sabot de Vénus (Cypripedium calceolus) représenté sur la vignette attenante (avec également un papillon Diane (Zerynthia polyxena).
J'ai déjà évoqué à de nombreuses reprises sur ce blog les timbres tchèques conçus par Libuše et Jaromír Knotek depuis 1996, la plupart étant consacrés à la faune (animaux de zoos, réserves naturelles, protection de la nature, oiseaux, poissons d'aquarium...), la flore (champignons) ou encore les joyaux de la couronne de Bohême. Certains de ces timbres ont obtenu des prix prestigieux lors d'expositions philatéliques internationales.
Avec Jaromír Knotek, Libuše Knotková a publié de nombreux livres avec des illustrations scientifiques souvent consacrées à la faune des 5 continents.
Ce TAD, sans mention des 70 ans, représente un bouquet de roses avec une coquille Saint-Jacques à sa base (pourquoi ?).
This stamp represents a typical landscape of this mid-mountain region on the border between the Czech Republic and Slovakia, with a European roller (the bird featured this year on the Slovak EUROPA stamp) and Gymnadenia densiflora flowers in the foreground.
This biosphere reserve is particularly characterized by the presence of numerous species of orchids such as Cypripedium calceolus represented on the adjoining vignette (with also a butterfly Zerynthia polyxena).
I have already mentioned many times on this blog the Czech stamps designed by Libuše and Jaromír Knotek since 1996, most of them devoted to wildlife (zoo animals, nature reserves, nature protection, birds, aquarium fish ...), flora (mushrooms) or the jewels of the Bohemian crown. Some of these stamps have won prestigious awards at international philatelic exhibitions.
With Jaromír Knotek, Libuše Knotková has published a lot of books with scientific illustrations often devoted to the fauna of the five continents.
This postmark, without mention of this 70th birthday, is featuring a bouquet of roses with a scallop shell at its base (why?).
Bret a eu la gentillesse de m'envoyer le feuillet commémoratif numéroté ci-dessus, mis en circulation également le 23 mai 2019 à l'occasion de l'émission de ce même TAD.
Ce feuillet comporte ce TAD ainsi qu'un timbre "Bouquet pour féliciter" (11 CZK) émis le 26 mars 2007 et également conçu par Libuše et Jaromír Knotek.
Ce timbre a été imprimé en feuille composé de 9 timbres + 12 vignettes comme celle (tulipe et papillon) à la gauche de ce timbre ci-dessus.
Ce feuillet ci-dessus n'a été émis qu'à 1500 exemplaires (numérotés de 0190801 à 0192300, prix de vente : 30 CZK).

This sheet features this postmark as well as a stamp "Congratulation Bouquet" (11 CZK) issued on March 26, 2007 and also designed by Libuše and Jaromír Knotek.
This stamp has been printed in sheetlet composed of 9 stamps + 12 vignettes like the one (tulip and butterfly) to the left of the stamp above.
This special sheet above was issued in only 1,500 copies (numbered from 0190801 to 0192300, selling price: 30 CZK).
