Comme les années précédentes, la poste de l'archipel d'Åland, un territoire autonome rattaché à la Finlande, a mis en circulation, le 24 octobre 2019, 2 timbres ayant pour thème les festivités de Noël.
Cette série illustrant des cristaux de neige, conçue par l'artiste suédoise Anette Gustafsson (qui avait déjà créé des timbres pour Åland en 2009 et 2011), connue pour ses aquarelles, a été imprimée par Cartor Security Printing en offset 4 couleurs + vernis UV.
En tant que client fidèle, j'ai reçu de la poste d'Åland la jolie carte spéciale ci-dessous incluant un des 2 timbres de cette série de Noël (tarif "Världen" ou "Monde" - 2,00€, tirage : 80000) ainsi que le TAD Premier Jour ("Forsta Dagen") de Mariehamn.
As in previous years, the postal administration of the Åland archipelago, an autonomous Finnish territory, put into circulation, on October 24, 2019, two stamps with the theme of Christmas festivities.
This series illustrating snow crystals, designed by the Swedish artist Anette Gustafsson (who had already created stamps for Åland in 2009 and 2011), known for her watercolors, was printed by Cartor Security Printing in 4-colour offset + UV coating.
As a loyal customer, I received from the Åland Post the nice special card below including one of the two stamps in this Christmas series ("Världen" or "World" rate - € 2.00, print run: 80,000) as well as the First Day ("Forsta Dagen") cancellation from Mariehamn.
L'autre timbre de cette série (tirage : 150000) comporte la mention "Julpost" ("courrier de Noël"), soit 1,00€ actuellement, permettant d'envoyer des courriers (jusqu'à 50g) vers Åland, la Suède et la Finlande pendant les périodes de Noël à un tarif préférentiel !
La carte ci-dessus reproduit une autre aquarelle d'Anette Gustafsson représentant un paysage local en hiver, avec présence également de cristaux de neige.
Cette aquarelle, avec 3 autres, fait partie de la série de vignettes de Noël ("Christmas seals") émise le même jour par la poste d'Åland, imprimée dans une même feuille de 20 vignettes (tirage : 4000 feuilles, prix de vente : 5€) et vendue au profit d'associations locales ("Cat Care Association" et "Foodbank Association" cette année).
The other stamp in this series (print run: 150,000) includes the word "Julpost" ("Christmas mail"), currently € 1.00, thus allowing to send letters (up to 50g) to Åland, Sweden and Finland during the Christmas period at a preferential rate!
The card above reproduces another watercolor by Anette Gustafsson depicting a local landscape in winter, also with snow crystals.
This watercolor, along with 3 others, is part of the series of Christmas seals issued on the same day by Åland Post, printed on the same sheet of 20 seals (print run: 4,000 sheets, sale price : € 5) and sold for the benefit of local associations ("Cat Care Association" and "Foodbank Association" this year).
L'autre face de cette carte ci-dessus qui est en fait un entier postal avec ce timbre "Port Payé" représentant un cristal de neige.
A noter les mentions "Joyeux Noël!" en suédois (la langue officielle de cet archipel), finnois, anglais et allemand ainsi que la signature du directeur de la poste d'Åland, Eivor Granberg.
The other side of this card above is actually a postal stationary with this "Postage Paid" stamp representing a snow crystal.
To note the mention "Merry Christmas!" in Swedish (the official language of this archipelago), Finnish, English and German as well as the signature of the Åland Post's Director, Eivor Granberg.
