Le 28 octobre 2019, la Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), le 2ème opérateur postal désigné (l'autre étant la poste kirghize) du Kirghizstan, a mis en circulation une nouvelle intéressante série (3 timbres) consacrée aux abeilles et à l'apiculture en particulier, une branche de l'agriculture qui consiste en l'élevage d'abeilles à miel pour exploiter les produits de la ruche, principalement du miel.
En raison d'un climat propice, d'un environnement sain et du large éventail de plantes favorables aux abeilles, le Kirghizstan produit du miel de haute qualité en grande quantité.
Ce pays possède de vastes pâturages d'altitude, recouverts d'une grande variété de plantes à miel. Les prairies, les pâturages des contreforts et les champs de foin dans les basses montagnes sont également riches en précieuses plantes à miel.
On October 28, 2019, the Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), the 2nd designated postal operator (the other one being the Kyrgyz Post) of Kyrgyzstan, put into circulation a new interesting series (3 stamps) devoted to bees and beekeeping in particular, a branch of agriculture which consists in the breeding of honey bees to exploit the products of the hive, mainly honey.
Due to a favorable climate, a healthy environment and the wide range of favorable plants for bees, Kyrgyzstan produces high quality honey in large quantities.
This country has vast mountain pastures, covered with a wide variety of honey plants. The meadows, foothills pastures and hay fields in the low mountains are also rich in precious honey plants.

Cette série (tirage : 8000 pour chaque timbre) à été conçue à partir de photographies (abeilles, alvéoles dans une ruche, apiculteur) prises par Ivan Turkovskii et Vladislav Ushakov, respectivement dans les régions des gorges d'Ala Archa (nord du pays), de Chichkan (rive sud du lac Issyk-Kul) et du lac de montagne Sary-Chelek (nord-ouest du pays).
L'union kirghize des apiculteurs est membre d'Apimondia, la Fédération Internationale des Associations d'Apiculteurs, et le miel du Kirghizstan, en particulier le miel "White Mountain" produit à partir de fleurs de sainfoin (Onobrychis) dans la région d'altitude d'At-Bashi (province de Naryn) a remporté le 1er Prix lors des Congrès d'Apimondia organisés en 2013 en Ukraine et en 2015 en Corée du Sud.

This series (print run: 8,000 for each stamp) was designed from photographs (bees, honeycomb, beekeeper) taken by Ivan Turkovskii and Vladislav Ushakov, respectively in the regions of the Ala Archa gorges (north of the country), Chichkan (south shore of Lake Issyk-Kul) and Sary-Chelek mountain lake (north-west of the country).
The Kyrgyz Union of Beekeepers is a member of Apimondia, the International Federation of Beekeepers' Associations, and honey from Kyrgyzstan, especially "White Mountain" honey produced from sainfoin (Onobrychis) flowers in the region of altitude of At-Bashi (Naryn province) won 1st Prize at the Apimondia Congresses organized in 2013 in Ukraine and in 2015 in South Korea.
Ces 3 timbres ont été imprimés (par Nova Imprim en Moldavie) chacun en feuillet (ci-dessus) composé de 4 timbres (tirage : 1500 feuillets pour chaque timbre).
Un bloc-feuillet (tirage : 2000) incluant les 3 timbres de cette série, a également été mis en circulation.
D'autres administrations postales (Croatie, Malte...) ont également émis des timbres en 2019 sur ce thème de l'apiculture.
These 3 stamps were printed (by Nova Imprim in Moldova) each in sheetlet (above) composed of 4 stamps (print run: 1,500 sheetlets for each stamp).
A souvenir sheet (print run: 2,000) including the 3 stamps of this series has also been put into circulation.
Other postal administrations (Croatia, Malta ...) also issued stamps in 2019 on this theme of beekeeping.
