Un court article a été publié dans le journal "Zvyazda" le 22 janvier 1919, qui déclarait que "le Commissariat aux Affaires étrangères avait commencé à fonctionner"...
Le 22 janvier 2019, 100 ans jour pour jour après cette publication, la poste du Belarus a mis en circulation un bloc-feuillet consacré à ces 100 ans de service diplomatique.
Ce bloc-feuillet (tarif "P" pour un envoi international jusqu'à 20g par voie aérienne - 1,92 BYN actuellement, tirage : 15000), conçu par Tatyana Kuznetsova, figure sur cette jolie lettre envoyée le 9 avril 2020 depuis Minsk. Merci beaucoup Myron !

On January 22, 2019, 100 years to the day after this publication, the Post of Belarus put into circulation a souvenir sheet dedicated to these 100 years of diplomatic service.
This souvenir sheet (tariff "P" for an international airmail letter up to 20g - 1.92 BYN currently, print run: 15,000), designed by Tatyana Kuznetsova, was used on this nice cover sent on April 9, 2020 from Minsk. Thank you very much Myron!
Le timbre, imprimé en partie avec un revêtement argenté, représente l'emblème du ministère biélorusse des affaires étrangères actuel, dont le siège à Minsk est représenté dans la marge en bas à droite.
La République socialiste soviétique (RSS) de Biélorussie était l'une des quinze républiques membres de l'Union soviétique avant sa dissolution en 1991.
Après la 2ème guerre mondiale, la RSS de Biélorussie se vit accorder un siège à l'Assemblée générale des Nations unies conjointement avec l'URSS et la RSS d'Ukraine, devenant ainsi l'un des 51 membres fondateurs de l'ONU.
La communauté mondiale reconnaissait ainsi la contribution de la RSS de Biélorussie à la défaite de l'Allemagne nazie.
La marge supérieure de ce bloc-feuillet évoque la signature de la Charte des Nations Unies le 26 juin 1945 par les représentants de la RSS de Biélorussie.
Les 4 autres timbres autocollants non dentelés ci-dessus (1 kop., 5 kop., 10 kop., 20 kop.) font partie de la 16ème série courante (12 timbres avec valeurs de 1 kopeck à 20 roubles) mise en circulation le 6 juillet 2016, représentant les armoiries du pays.
The stamp, partly printed with a metalized silver foil, represents the emblem of the current Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, whose headquarters in Minsk is shown in the bottom right margin.
The Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic (Byelorussian SSR) was one of the fifteen member republics of the Soviet Union before its dissolution in 1991.
After the Second World War, the Byelorussian SSR was granted a seat in the United Nations General Assembly together with the USSR and the Ukrainian SSR, thus becoming one of the 51 founding members of the United Nations.
The world community thus recognized the contribution of the Byelorussian SSR to the defeat of Nazi Germany.
The top margin of this souvenir sheet refers to the signing of the Charter of the United Nations on June 26, 1945 by the representatives of the Byelorussian SSR.
