"Ivan Bunin (1870-1953)" stamp on FDC from Kyrgyzstan (KEP)

Timbre "Ivan Bounine (1870-1953)" sur FDC du Kirghizstan (KEP) 

Le 14 décembre 2020, la Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), le 2ème opérateur postal désigné (l'autre étant la poste kirghize) du Kirghizstan, a mis en circulation une jolie série (3 timbres + 1 bloc-feuillet) consacrée à différentes personnalités, dont l'écrivain et poète russe Ivan Bounine (1870-1953), lauréat du prix Nobel de littérature en 1933 et considéré comme l'un des plus grands prosateurs russes du 20ème siècle.
Perpétuant la tradition littéraire de Tolstoï et Dostoïevski, Ivan Bounine plonge avec son propre style unique le lecteur dans les méandres des sentiments de ses héros, ses histoires d'amour étant parmi les plus touchantes de la littérature russe, ce qui explique pourquoi il fut le premier russe à recevoir ce prix Nobel de littérature, récompensé pour "la rigueur avec laquelle il perpétue les traditions de la prose classique russe".
On December 14, 2020, the Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), the 2nd designated postal operator (the other being the Kyrgyz Post) of Kyrgyzstan, put into circulation a  nice series (3 stamps + 1 souvenir sheet) dedicated to different personalities, including the Russian writer and poet Ivan Bunin (1870-1953), Nobel Prize for Literature in 1933 and considered one of the greatest Russian prose writers of the 20th century.
Continuing the literary tradition of Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, Ivan Bunin with his own unique style immerses the reader in the meanders of the feelings of his heroes, his love stories being among the most touching of Russian literature, which explains why he was the first Russian to receive this Nobel Prize for Literature, awarded for "the artistry with which he develops the traditions of Russian classical prose".

 

J'ai eu la chance de recevoir le FDC officiel ci-dessus (tirage : 250) concernant ce timbre (75 KGS, tirage : 5000), conçu par Dmitri Murahovschi et Daria Maier, avec TAD de Bichkek.
Ce timbre, incluant un portrait de l'écrivain jeune (vers 1890), fait également référence à la médaille remise lors de son prix Nobel de littérature.
Après la révolution d'octobre 1917, Bounine quitte la Russie et s'installe en France où il passera les 33 dernières années de sa vie. Il est inhumé dans le cimetière russe de Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois.
La poste russe a également émis un timbre en 2020 rendant hommage à Bounine, à l'occasion du 150ème anniversaire de sa naissance. 

I was lucky enough to receive the above official FDC (print run: 250) regarding this stamp (75 KGS, print run: 5,000), designed by Dmitri Murahovschi and Daria Maier, with postmarks from Bishkek. 

This stamp, including a portrait of the young writer (circa 1890), also refers to the medal awarded for his Nobel Prize for Literature.

After the October 1917 revolution, Bunin left Russia and settled in France where he spent the last 33 years of his life. He is buried in the Russian cemetery of Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois.

The Russian Post also issued a stamp in 2020 paying tribute to Bunin, on the 150th anniversary of his birth.
