"Airmail 75th anniversary 1920-1995" postal stationery from Czech Republic

Entier postal "75 ans de poste aérienne 1920-1995" de République tchèque

Le 20 septembre 1995, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation un entier postal (5 CZK, tirage : 51000) consacré au 75ème anniversaire de la 1ère liaison postale aérienne Prague-Strasbourg-Paris-Londres.
Un grand merci Kamil pour l'envoi de cet entier postal le 22 janvier 2021, avec TAD du bureau d'échange international de Prague 120 (lieu où travaillent les douanes tchèques) utilisé pour la dernière fois ce jour là !
Situé depuis 1991 dans le quartier de Košíře (ouest de Prague), ce bureau a en effet été transféré dans le quartier de Štěrboholy (est de Prague).
Un prototype "Let L 610" (8 avions fabriqués entre 1988 et 1997) de l'avionneur tchèque Let Kunovice est représenté sur le timbre pré-imprimé en haut à droite sur cet entier postal alors qu'une reproduction d'un des 3 premiers timbres de poste aérienne (24 CZK) émis en août 1920 figure en haut à gauche.
Il s'agit en fait de timbres "Château de Prague" (par Mucha) émis en 1918-1919, surchargés (hélice, valeur faciale, avion) et utilisés sur le courrier transporté sur cette 1ère liaison aérienne entre Prague et Londres en 1920.
On September 20, 1995, the Czech Post put into circulation a postal stationary (5 CZK, print run: 51,000) dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the first airmail Prague-Strasbourg-Paris-London.
Many thanks Kamil for sending this postal stationary on January 22, 2021, with postmarks from the Prague 120 international post office (where customs authority is working) used for the last time that day!
Located since 1991 in the Košíře district (west part of Prague), this office has indeed been moved to the Štěrboholy district (east part of Prague).
A prototype "Let L 610" (8 planes manufactured between 1988 and 1997) of the Czech aircraft manufacturer Let Kunovice is depicted on the pre-printed stamp at the top right on this postal stationary while a reproduction of one of the first 3 Airmail stamps (24 CZK) issued in August 1920 is shown on the top left.
They are actually "Prague Castle" stamps (by Mucha) issued in 1918-1919, overprinted (propeller, nominal value, airplane) and used on mail transported on this first airmail between Prague and London in 1920.

 

Kamil a complété l'affranchissement avec 4 autres timbres afin d'atteindre le tarif en vigueur (39 CZK) pour un envoi prioritaire jusqu'à 50g vers les pays européens.
Les 2 petits timbres (7 CZK et 8 CZK) font partie d'une série (3 timbres) émise le 9 octobre 1996, conçue par Ervín Urban et gravée par Martin Srb, consacrée à différents types d'aéronefs (biplans) utilisés en Tchécoslovaquie entre 1920 et 1925, un Letov Š-1 et un Aero A 11 ici.
Le timbre à 8 CZK (conçu et gravé par Bedřich Housa), reproduisant les grandes armoiries du pays (ainsi que des fleurs et feuilles de tilleul, l'arbre national), fait partie des premiers timbres émis (le 22 juin 1993) après l'indépendance de la République tchèque.
Le dernier timbre (11 CZK), conçu par Vladimír Kovářík et gravé par Pavel Kovářík, a été émis le 3 août 1994 pour commémorer le 120ème anniversaire de l'Union Postale Universelle (UPU), "Světová poštovní unie" en tchèque.

Kamil completed the postage with 4 other stamps in order to reach the current rate (39 CZK) for priority shipping up to 50g to European countries.

The two small stamps (7 CZK and 8 CZK) are part of a series (3 stamps) issued on October 9, 1996, designed by Ervín Urban and engraved by Martin Srb, dedicated to different types of aircraft (biplanes) used in Czechoslovakia between 1920 and 1925, a Letov Š-1 and an Aero A 11 here.

The 8 CZK stamp (designed and engraved by Bedřich Housa), reproducing the country's great coat of arms (as well as linden's flowers and leaves, the national tree), is among the first stamps issued (on June 22, 1993) after the independence of Czech Republic.

The last stamp (11 CZK), designed by Vladimír Kovářík and engraved by Pavel Kovářík, was issued on August 3, 1994 to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the Universal Postal Union (UPU), "Světová poštovní unie" in Czech.
