"Red Book - Fishes" stamp set on FDC from Kyrgyzstan (KEP)

Série "Livre Rouge - Poissons" sur FDC du Kirghizstan (KEP)

Après des mammifères en 2018 et des reptiles et batraciens en 2019, la Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP) a mis en circulation le 18 mars 2021, une très jolie série (4 timbres) consacrée à nouveau au Livre Rouge de la République kirghize, en particulier 4 espèces de poissons, particulièrement menacées et endémiques pour certaines.
Bien que le Kirghizstan soit un pays à prédominance montagneuse sans accès à la mer, son ichtyofaune est assez riche et diversifiée. Il existe 107 espèces et sous-espèces de poissons dans les lacs et rivières du pays, dont beaucoup sont endémiques ou subendémiques. Rien que dans le lac Issyk-Kul, le plus grand lac du Kirghizstan et l'un des plus grands d'Asie centrale, il existe onze espèces de poissons endémiques.
After mammals in 2018 and reptiles and batrachians in 2019, the Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP) put into circulation on March 18, 2021, a very nice series (4 stamps) dedicated again to the Red Data Book of the Kyrgyz Republic, in particular four species of fish, particularly threatened and endemic for some. 
Although Kyrgyzstan is a predominantly mountainous country with no access to the sea, its ichthyofauna is quite rich and diverse. There are 107 species and subspecies of fish in the country's lakes and rivers, among which many are endemic or subendemic. In Lake Issyk-Kul alone, the largest lake in Kyrgyzstan and one of the largest in Central Asia, there are eleven endemic fish species.

Une 5ème espèce incluse dans ce Livre Rouge, Cottus jaxartensis, une espèce de chabot vivant en particulier dans la rivière Chatqal, est représentée à gauche sur cette enveloppe.
Ces 4 timbres (tirage : 6500 chacun) représentent chacun une espèce dans son environnement privilégié, dans une rivière ou un lac : marinka d'Issyk-Kul (50 KGS, Schizothorax issykkuli), Ostroluchka oriental (75 KGS, Capoetobrama kuschakewitschi), poisson-chat du Turkestan (100 KGS, Glyptosternon reticulatum) et brochet aspic (150 KGS, Aspiolucius esocinus).

A 5th fish species included in this Red Book, Cottus jaxartensis, living in particular in the Chatqal river, is represented on the left on this envelope.
These 4 stamps (print run: 6,500 each) each represent a species in its privileged environment, in a river or a lake: Issyk-Kul Marinka (50 KGS, Schizothorax issykkuli), Eastern Ostroluchka (75 KGS, Capoetobrama kuschakewitschi), Turkestan Catfish (100 KGS, Glyptosternon reticulatum) and Pike Asp (150 KGS, Aspiolucius esocinus). 

 

Un impact négatif sur le nombre et la diversité de la faune aquatique du Kirghizstan est causé par plusieurs facteurs humains : la pollution des réservoirs, l'irrigation, le braconnage et l'introduction d'espèces exotiques. En conséquence, de nombreuses espèces de poissons au Kirghizstan sont très rares et nécessitent des mesures urgentes de protection et de conservation.
Ces 4 timbres ont été imprimés (par Nova Imprim en Moldavie) chacun en feuillet (ci-dessus) composé de 5 timbres + 1 vignette (tirage : 1000 feuillets pour chaque timbre).
Les 4 vignettes comportent le nom de l'espèce animale en anglais et russe (nom en kirghize et latin sur les timbres). Un bloc-feuillet (tirage : 1500) incluant les 4 timbres de cette série, a également été mis en circulation. 

A negative impact on the number and diversity of Kyrgyzstan's aquatic fauna is caused by several human factors: reservoir pollution, irrigation, poaching and the introduction of alien species. As a result, many fish species in Kyrgyzstan are very rare and need urgent protection and conservation measures. 

These 4 stamps were printed (by Nova Imprim in Moldova) each in sheetlet (see above) consisting of 5 stamps + 1 label (print run: 1,000 sheetlets for each stamp). 
The 4 labels contain the name of the animal species in English and Russian (name in Kyrgyz and Latin on the stamps). A souvenir sheet (print run: 1,500) including the 4 stamps of this series, was also put into circulation.

La KEP a également mis en circulation les 4 jolies cartes maximum ci-dessus (tirage : 250 chacune), numérotées de MC-73 à MC-76, concernant les 4 timbres de cette série, reproduisant les dessins originaux de Vladimir Melnic ayant inspirés cette série.
The KEP has put into circulation the four nice maxicards above (print run: 250 each), numbered from MC-73 to MC-76, about the four stamps of this series, reproducing the original drawings by Vladimir Melnic that inspired this series.
