"Günsel B9 - first domestic electric car" stamp set on cover from Northern Cyprus

Série "Günsel B9 - première voiture électrique locale" sur lettre de Chypre du Nord

Le 7 octobre 2021, l'administration postale de la République Turque de Chypre du Nord (Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti) a mis en circulation 2 timbres consacrés à la marque automobile locale Günsel, spécialisée dans la production de véhicules électriques.
Ces 2 timbres (tirage : 20000 chacun), conçus par Görel Korol Sönmezer, ont été utilisés pour affranchir cette lettre envoyée le 24 décembre 2021 depuis Lefkoşa, la partie nord de Nicosie, capitale de la République Turque de Chypre du Nord (reconnue uniquement par la Turquie). Merci beaucoup Tolga !  
Les premiers travaux, qui ont formé la base de la voiture nationale et domestique de la République Turque de Chypre du Nord, Günsel, ont commencé avec l'approche visionnaire de l'Université du Proche-Orient et de la famille Günsel.
Pour la première fois en 2016, le modèle Günsel a été présenté aux consommateurs avec le modèle concept de la B9 100% électrique. 
On October 7, 2021, the Postal Administration of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti) put into circulation 2 stamps dedicated to the local car brand Günsel, specialized in the production of electric vehicles.
These two stamps (print run: 20,000 each), designed by Görel Korol Sönmezer, were used to frank this letter sent on December 24, 2021 from Lefkoşa, the northern part of Nicosia, capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (recognized only by Turkey). Thank you very much Tolga!
The first studies that formed the basis of Günsel, the domestic and national car of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, started with the visionary approach of Near East University and the Günsel Family.
For the first time in 2016, the Günsel model was presented to consumers with the concept model of the 100% electric B9.

 

Ce modèle Günsel B9 (350 km d'autonomie) est inspiré du mouflon, un animal emblématique de l'île de Chypre, avec des lignes, depuis les phares jusqu'à la cabine, qui affichent une posture perpendiculaire comme les cornes du mouflon.
Le timbre ci-dessus à gauche (3,50 TL) montre ce véhicule, depuis l'intérieur, sur une route de Chypre du Nord (le drapeau national figure au bout de la route), des mouflons figurant sur la partie droite.
Le 20 février 2020, Günsel B9 a lancé son premier prototype, produit en couleurs jaune, rouge et bleu, représentant la terre, le drapeau et le bleu de la Méditerranée, représentés sur le timbre ci-dessus à droite (6,25 TL).
La fabrication des batteries et la production en série de ce véhicule doit démarrer début 2022 dans une installation universitaire près de la capitale, Lefkosa. 20000 voitures doivent être produites, ce nombre devant augmenter en fonction du marché et de la demande.

Un autre modèle, Günsel J9 (500 km d'autonomie), est également en cours d'étude depuis 2020. 

This Günsel B9 model (350 km range) is inspired by the mouflon, an emblematic animal of the island of Cyprus, with lines, from the headlights to the cabin, revealing an upright stance like the horns of the mouflon.

The stamp above on the left (3.50 TL) shows this vehicle, from the inside, on a road in Northern Cyprus (the national flag is at the end of the road), mouflons appearing on the right part.

On February 20, 2020, Günsel B9 launched its first prototype, produced in yellow, red and blue colors, representing the earth, the flag and the blue of the Mediterranean, featured on the stamp above on the right (6.25 TL).

Battery manufacturing and mass production of this vehicle is due to start in early 2022 at a university facility near the capital, Lefkosa. 20,000 cars are to be produced, with this number expected to increase based on market and demand.

Another model, Günsel J9 (500 km range), has also been under study since 2020.
