"40th anniversary of the Liberté de Gandon" (booklet) stamp on FDC from France

Timbre "40 ans de la Liberté de Gandon" (carnet) sur FDC de France

Dans le cadre du 75ème Salon Philatélique d'Automne organisé à Paris du 3 au 5 novembre 2022, la poste française a mis en circulation un carnet spécial à l'occasion des 40 ans de l'émission des timbres courants "Liberté de Gandon".
Ce carnet (conception graphique : Ségolène Carron, tirage : 70000) est constitué d'un premier feuillet composé de 12 timbres de petit format (6 timbres Mariannes rouges "Lettre Prioritaire 20g - 1,43€" et 6 timbres Mariannes vertes "Lettre Verte 20g - 1,16€") et d'un 2ème feuillet composé de 2 timbres de très grand format rouge ("Lettre Prioritaire 100g - 2,86€") et vert ("Lettre Verte 100g - 2,32€").
Un des timbres de petit format rouges ("Lettre Prioritaire 20g") extraits du premier feuillet, a été utilisé pour affranchir la lettre ci-dessous, envoyée le 5 novembre 2022 depuis ce Salon parisien. Merci beaucoup Axel ! 
As part of the 75th "Salon Philatélique d'Automne" organized in Paris from November 3 to 5, 2022, the French Post has put into circulation a special booklet on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the issue of the "Liberté de Gandon" definitive stamps.
This booklet (graphic design: Ségolène Carron, print run: 70,000) consists of a first sheetlet made up of 12  small sized stamps (6 red Marianne stamps "Priority Letter 20g - €1.43" and 6 green Marianne stamps "Green Letter 20g - €1.16") and a 2nd sheetlet made up of 2 very large stamps, red ("Priority Letter 100g - €2.86") and green ("Green Letter 100g - €2.32").
One of the small format red stamps ("Priority Letter 20g"), taken from the first sheetlet, was used on the cover below, sent on November 5, 2022 from this stamp exhibition in Paris. Thank you very much Axel!

 

Ce timbre courant "Liberté de Gandon" fait partie d'une série émise de janvier 1982 (au début du premier mandat du président François Mitterrand) à septembre 1990, remplacée ensuite par la Marianne du Bicentenaire.
François Mitterrand choisira lui-même une allégorie de la République, inspirée de "La Liberté guidant le peuple" (1830, Musée du Louvre), peinture d'Eugène Delacroix consacrée à la Révolution de Juillet 1830, dessinée et gravée par Pierre Gandon.
A noter que ce timbre affichera la  mention "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE" (ce qui est le cas sur les timbres de ce carnet ci-dessus), en remplacement de la mention "FRANCE" figurant sur le précédent timbre d'usage courant "Sabine de Gandon". 
This definitive stamp "Liberté de Gandon" is part of a series issued from January 1982 (at the start of President François Mitterrand's first term) to September 1990, later replaced by the "Marianne du Bicentenaire".
François Mitterrand himself chose an allegory of the Republic, inspired by "Liberty Leading the People" (1830, Musée du Louvre), a painting by Eugène Delacroix devoted to the July 1830 Revolution, drawn and engraved by Pierre Gandon.
To note that this stamp displayed the mention "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE" (which is the case on the stamps of this booklet above), replacing the mention "FRANCE" appearing on the previous "Sabine de Gandon" definitive stamps.
