Quelques administrations postales ont émis des timbres consacrés au marin et explorateur polaire norvégien Roald Amundsen en 2022 à l'occasion du 150ème anniversaire de sa naissance : Norvège, Kirghizstan (KEP), France, Hongrie, Centrafrique...
Le 29 novembre 2022, la poste moldave a mis en circulation la 3ème partie d'une série intitulée "Personnalités qui ont changé l'histoire du monde" ("Personalități care au schimbat istoria lumii"), composée de 4 timbres dont un consacré à Roald Amundsen.
Ces 4 timbres, conçus par Vladimir Melnic, ont été imprimés chacun dans un feuillet composé de 6 timbres.

On November 29, 2022, the Post of Moldova put into circulation the 3rd part of a series entitled "Personalities who changed world history" ("Personalități care au schimbat istoria lumii"), consisting of 4 stamps, one of which is dedicated to Roald Amundsen.
These 4 stamps, designed by Vladimir Melnic, were each printed in a sheetlet of 6 stamps.

Légende de l'exploration, le Norvégien Roald Amundsen (1872-1928) fait partie, à l'instar d'Ernest Shackleton où de Robert Falcon Scott, des principaux visages de l'âge d'or de l'exploration polaire, survenu entre la fin du 19ème et le début du 20ème siècle.
En 1898, Roald Amundsen participe à l'expédition polaire belge d'Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery qui réalise le premier hivernage en Antarctique. En 1905, il est le premier à franchir le passage du Nord-Ouest qui relie l'océan Atlantique au Pacifique dans le Grand Nord canadien.
Il commande plus tard l'expédition qui, la première, atteint le pôle Sud, le 14 décembre 1911, après être arrivé dans la baie des Baleines le 14 janvier 1911.
En 1926, après avoir survolé le pôle Nord en ballon dirigeable, Amundsen devient le premier à avoir atteint les deux pôles.
Legend of exploration, Norwegian Roald Amundsen (1872-1928) is one, like Ernest Shackleton or Robert Falcon Scott, of the main faces of the golden age of polar exploration, which occurred between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century.
In 1898, Roald Amundsen took part in the Belgian polar expedition led by Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery, which carried out the first wintering in Antarctica. In 1905, he was the first to cross the Northwest Passage which connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific in the Canadian Far North.
He later commanded the expedition which first reached the South Pole on December 14, 1911, after arriving in Baie des Baleines on January 14, 1911.
In 1926, after flying over the North Pole in a dirigible balloon, Amundsen became the first to have reached both poles.
