Carte pré-timbrée "Premier timbre NFT de La Poste" de France
Aujourd'hui, 18 septembre 2023, la poste française a mis en circulation son tout premier timbre NFT, emboîtant le pas à d'autres administrations postales (Pays-Bas, Autriche, Suisse, Liechtenstein, Thaïlande, Croatie, Nations Unies, Portugal, îles Féroé...) ayant déjà émis ce genre de timbre, appelé aussi crypto-timbre.
Il s'agit en fait d'un bloc-feuillet (valeur 8€, tirage : 100000 seulement) émis sous forme physique classique, avec un jumeau au format numérique pour faire simple, vendu uniquement sur la plateforme NFTimbre.
Les achats effectués aujourd'hui seront certifiés du "Premier Jour" via le NFT lui-même. L'innovation majeure de La Poste portera sur l'activation simultanée du certificat NFT (émis sur la blockchain) lors de l'envoi de ce bloc-feuillet. Le NFT permettra d'offrir une identification unique de chaque timbre, facilitant son authentification et sa valeur future de revente...
Today, September 18, 2023, the French Post put its very first NFT stamp into circulation, following in the footsteps of other postal administrations (Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Thailand, Croatia, United Nations, Portugal, Faroe Islands...) having already issued this type of stamp, also called crypto stamp.
It is in fact a souvenir sheet (value €8.00, print run: 100,000 only) issued in classic physical form, with a twin in digital format to keep it simple, sold only on the NFTimbre platform.
Purchases made today will be certified as "First Day" via the NFT itself. La Poste's major innovation will be the simultaneous activation of the NFT certificate (issued on the blockchain) when sending this souvenir sheet. The NFT will make it possible to offer a unique identification of each stamp, facilitating its authentication and its future resale value...
La Poste a communiqué depuis plusieurs mois concernant le lancement de ce premier timbre NFT français, y compris en envoyant à ses clients des cartes pré-timbrées comme celle ci-dessus (envoyée le 28 août 2023 depuis Lyon), avec un timbre pré-imprimé (Lettre Verte) incitant à collectionner ces nouveaux timbres. Un QR-code à gauche permet de se connecter directement à la plateforme NFTimbre.
La Poste has been communicating for several months regarding the launch of this first French NFT stamp, including by sending its customers prepaid cards such as the one above (sent on August 28, 2023 from Lyon), with a pre-printed stamp ("Green Letter" rate) encouraging people to collect these new stamps. A QR code on the left allows you to connect directly to the NFTimbre platform.
L'œuvre de l'artiste Faunesque (Phil Constantinesco de son vrai nom), un "condensé onirique de l'univers du courrier" ayant inspiré ce bloc-feuillet est reproduite sur l'autre côté de cette carte ci-dessus.
Ce dessin présente un tourbillon d'objets (ainsi qu'un facteur sur son vélo électrique) ayant un rapport avec la correspondance, la lettre et l'écriture, sortant d'une boîte aux lettres.
3 autres timbres de ce type vont être mis en circulation en 2023 et 2024.
The work of art by the artist Faunesque (real name Phil Constantinesco), a "dreamlike summary of the mail world" which inspired this souvenir sheet is reproduced on the other side of this card above.
This drawing presents a swirl of objects (as well as a postman on his electric bike) relating to correspondence, letters and writing, emerging from a mailbox.
Three other stamps of this type will be put into circulation in 2023 and 2024.
