70 ans de Yad Vashem et relations diplomatiques avec Israël sur FDC d'Allemagne

Le timbre à droite (0,85€), conçu par Stefan Guzy et émis le 3 août 2023, est consacré au 70ème anniversaire de la création du Mémorial de Yad Vashem à Jérusalem.
Ce Mémorial international de l'Holocauste Yad Vashem a été fondé en 1953 par le Parlement israélien. Situé sur le Mont du Souvenir, dans la forêt de Jérusalem, il se consacre à la documentation de l'Holocauste, à la recherche, à l'éducation et à la commémoration des 6 millions d'hommes, de femmes et d'enfants juifs assassinés pendant la Shoah.
Ce timbre montre en particulier le dôme de la Salle des noms, dépositaire des noms des millions de victimes de la Shoah. Ces noms figurent également dans la base de données centrale des noms des victimes de la Shoah sur le site Web de Yad Vashem.

The stamp on the right (€0.85), designed by Stefan Guzy and issued on August 3, 2023, is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the creation of the Yad Vashem Memorial in Jerusalem.
This Yad Vashem International Holocaust Memorial was founded in 1953 by the Israeli Parliament. Located on the Mount Herzl in the Jerusalem Forest, it is dedicated to Holocaust documentation, research, education and commemoration of the 6 million Jewish men, women and children murdered during the Shoah.
This stamp shows in particular the dome of the Hall of Names, repository of the names of millions of victims of the Shoah. These names also appear in the central database of names of Holocaust victims on the Yad Vashem website.
Ce Mémorial de Yad Vashem est constitué de plusieurs édifices, en particulier le nouveau musée d'histoire de l'Holocauste, conçu par l'architecte Moshe Safdie, ayant la forme d'un prisme triangulaire en béton qui traverse le paysage, éclairé par une lucarne de 200 mètres de long.
C'est une vue aérienne de ce musée qui figure sur le TAD Premier Jour de Berlin (D-10117) appliqué sur le timbre ci-dessus.
L'autre timbre (0,55€, tirage : 9000000), émis le 3 novembre 2005, conjointement avec la poste israélienne, commémorait le 40ème anniversaire de l'établissement de relations diplomatiques entre l'Allemagne et Israël.
Ces relations ont été établies le 12 mai 1965 entre Israël et la République fédérale d'Allemagne, 20 ans après la fin de la 2ème guerre mondiale et 17 ans après la création de l'état d'Israël.
L'Allemagne est aujourd'hui le plus important partenaire commercial d'Israël en Europe, Israël étant le 4ème partenaire commercial de l'Allemagne dans cette région du Moyen-Orient.
Ce timbre représente simplement les drapeaux des 2 pays avec l'intitulé de cet anniversaire (en hébreu et allemand) avec la présence de fil de fer barbelé, en mémoire des victimes juives des camps de la mort nazis pendant la 2ème guerre mondiale.
This Yad Vashem Memorial is made up of several buildings, in particular the new Holocaust history museum, designed by architect Moshe Safdie, in the shape of a triangular concrete prism which crosses the landscape, illuminated by a 200-meter-long skylight.
It is an aerial view of this museum which appears on the First Day cancellation from Berlin (D-10117) applied to the stamp above.
The other stamp (€0.55, print run: 9,000,000), issued on November 3, 2005, jointly with the Israeli Post, commemorated the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Germany and Israel.
These relations were established on May 12, 1965 between Israel and the Federal Republic of Germany, 20 years after the end of the Second World War and 17 years after the creation of the State of Israel.
Germany is today Israel's most important trading partner in Europe, with Israel being Germany's 4th trading partner in this region of the Middle East.
This stamp simply represents the flags of the 2 countries with the title of this anniversary (in Hebrew and German) with the presence of barbed wire, in memory of the Jewish victims of the Nazi death camps during the Second World War.
