Du 16 au 19 août 2012 a eu lieu l'exposition philatélique "LIBA2012" à Schaan dans la principauté du Liechtenstein, marquant le 100ème anniversaire de l'émission du 1er timbre dans ce pays (j'en reparlerai dans un prochain article !).
Dans le cadre de cette exposition, un concours de création de timbres avait été organisé auprès des habitants du Liechtenstein et des ressortissants de ce pays vivant à l'étranger. Consacré au thème "Une légende liechtensteinoise", les participants devaient concevoir des timbres s'inspirant d'une des 3 célèbres légendes de leur choix : "Trois soeurs", "Die Wildmändli" ou "Géant de Guflina".
Le jour de l'ouverture, les visiteurs étaient invités à voter pour leurs dessins préférés parmi les 3 catégories "Enfants (6 à 11 ans)", "Adolescents (12 à 17 ans)" et "Adultes (à partir de 18 ans)".
From 16th to 19th August 2012 took place the philatelic exhibition "LIBA2012" in Schaan in the Principality of Liechtenstein, marking the 100th anniversary of the issue of the first stamp in this country (I will speak about in a next post !).
In the context of this Exhibition, a stamp design competition was held among the inhabitants of Liechtenstein and the nationals living abroad. Devoted to the theme "A Liechtenstein legend", participants were asked to design stamps inspired by one of the three famous legends of their choice : "Three Sisters", "The Wildmändli" or the "Giant of Guflina".
The opening day, visitors were invited to vote for their favorite designs among the three categories "Children (6-11 years)", "Young people (12-17 years)" and "Adults (18 years upwards)". 
Les dessins choisis dans ces 3 catégories ont alors fait l'objet d'une émission philatélique extraordinaire. Le bloc-feuillet (composé des 3 timbres gagnants) ci-dessus a en effet été émis en un temps record !
Une fois la désignation des 3 lauréats, l'imprimerie Gutenberg AG, située à seulement 250 mètres du lieu de cette exposition, a en effet réussi à imprimer ce bloc-feuillet en seulement 57 minutes et 50 secondes, établissant ainsi un nouveau record du monde !
Un énorme merci Olivier pour cet extraordinaire pli Premier Jour ci-dessus concernant ce bloc commémoratif et ce record du monde homologué par "Guinness World Record" dont l'emblème figure sur cette enveloppe à gauche :-)
The drawings selected from these three categories then made the subject of a very special stamp issue. The souvenir sheet (consisting of the three winner's stamps) above was indeed issued in a record time !
Once the designation of the three winners, the Gutenberg AG printing house, located only 250 meters from the site of this Exhibition, has indeed managed to print this souvenir sheet in only 57 minutes and 50 seconds, setting a new world record !

Les 3 légendes évoquées dans cette série ont toutes pour origine les montagnes du pays. Les "Trois soeurs", qui auraient été transformées en pierre d'après la légende, désignent aujourd'hui un massif montagneux située à la frontière avec l'Autriche (Vorarlberg).
"Die Wildmändli" ou "hommes sauvages" désignent des créatures ressemblant au yéti qui gardaient les troupeaux des paysans l'hiver venu, dans la région de Malbun.
Le "Géant de Guflina" sauva les habitants de la région de Triesenberg en combattant un terrible dragon.
La photo ci-dessus a été prise lors de cette expo "LIBA2012" et montre à gauche le représentant de "Guinness World Record", Craig Glenday, venu homologuer ce record du monde de l'émission de timbre la plus rapide.
Pour info ou rappel, le précédent record appartenait à la poste autrichienne (qui était présente à Schaan !) avec un temps de 1 heure et 25 minutes (concernait l'émission d'une série de timbres émise après la finale de l'Euro 2008 de football).
The three legends featured in this series are all originated from the mountain regions of the country. The "Three Sisters", who have been turned into stone according to the legend, today refer to a mountain on the border with Austria (Vorarlberg).
"Die Wildmändli" or "wild men" refers to the yeti-like creatures guarding the herds of peasants at the beginning of winter, in the region of Malbun.
The "Giant of Guflina" saved the inhabitants of the region of Triesenberg fighting a terrible dragon.
The photo above was taken at this Exhibition "LIBA2012" and shows to the left the representative of "Guinness World Record", Craig Glenday, certifying this new "fastest printing of a postage stamp" world record.
As a reminder, the previous world record belonged to the Austrian Post (that was present at Schaan !) with a time of 1 hour and 25 minutes (related to the printing of a series of stamps issued after the 2008 UEFA European championship final).
