Après 2 précédentes séries émises en 2014 et 2018, la Chunghwa Post de Taïwan a mis en circulation, le 20 novembre 2019 (année 108 localement), la 3ème partie (4 timbres) d'une série consacrée à différents phares du pays.
J'aime beaucoup cette série (conception : Up Creative Design and Advertising Corporation) évoquant des illustrations de bandes dessinées, avec un style ancien du meilleur goût !

Ce phare du port de Taichung (12 NT $), situé sur le toit de la "Far Eastern Warehousing Corp.", a été construit en 1982.
Cette tour en béton armé blanc est le seul phare de Taïwan construit au sommet d'une structure artificielle et c'est aussi le phare taïwanais avec la plus haute tour.

This Taichung Port lighthouse (NT $ 12), located on the roof of the "Far Eastern Warehousing Corp.", was built in 1982.
This white reinforced concrete tower is the only lighthouse in Taiwan built on top of an artificial structure and it is also the Taiwanese lighthouse with the tallest tower.
Le phare du port de Tamsui (15 NT $), situé sur la rive nord de l'embouchure de la rivière Tamsui à Shalun, a été construit en 1796, remplacé en 1888 par une structure détruite pendant la 2ème guerre mondiale et reconstruit en 1969 sous la forme d'une structure métallique.
Le timbre ci-dessus à droite (8 NT $) représente le phare de Tungting Tao, situé dans le comté de Kinmen, construit en 1871 au sommet d'une colline. Tour ronde en brique peinte en noir, ce phare constitue une paire de balises de navigation avec le phare de Peiting Tao, surnommés "les deux cornes de Kinmen".
Le dernier timbre de cette série (8 NT $) est consacré au phare de Keelung, situé sur la jetée de Wanren Duibi sur la rive ouest du port de Keelung, une structure ronde en brique peinte en blanc construite en 1899. Équipé à l'origine d'une lampe au kérosène, il dispose désormais d'une lampe alimentée en courant alternatif.
The Tamsui Port lighthouse (NT $ 15), located on the north bank of the mouth of the Tamsui river at Shalun, was built in 1796, replaced in 1888 by a structure destroyed during the 2nd World War and rebuilt in 1969 with a white square tapered iron tower.
The stamp above to the right (NT $ 8) represents the Tungting Tao lighthouse, located in Kinmen County, built in 1871 on the top of a hill. Round brick tower painted black, this lighthouse constitutes a pair of navigation beacons with the Peiting Tao lighthouse, nicknamed "the two horns of Kinmen".
The last stamp in this series (NT $ 8) is dedicated to the Keelung lighthouse, located at the Wanren Duibi Pier on the west bank of Keelung Port, a round structure in white painted brick built in 1899.
Originally equipped with a kerosene lamp, it now has an AC-powered lamp.
