Pour rappel, 51 pays ont fondé l'Organisation des Nations Unies en 1945 suite à la ratification de la Charte des Nations Unies à San Francisco le le 24 octobre 1945.
La Pologne fut l'un de ces pays fondateurs et la poste polonaise a mis en circulation, le 24 octobre 2020, un timbre consacré au 75ème anniversaire des Nations Unies ("75 rocznica powstania ONZ").

As a reminder, 51 countries founded the United Nations in 1945 following the ratification of the United Nations Charter in San Francisco on October 24, 1945.
Poland was one of these founding countries and the Polish Post issued, on October 24, 2020, a stamp dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the United Nations ("75 rocznica powstania ONZ").

 

Ce timbre (3,30 PLN, tirage : 120000), conçu par Jan Konarzewski, a été utilisé sur cette lettre envoyée le 12 janvier 2021 depuis la ville de Łosice. Merci beaucoup Grzegorz ! 
Le logo officiel de ce 75ème anniversaire des Nations Unies (emblème des Nations Unies, mention "UN75" avec le slogan associé "Façonnons notre avenir ensemble" en anglais) figure sur ce timbre, ainsi qu'un globe terrestre et une colombe avec une branche d'olivier dans le bec, rappelant qu'un des objectifs majeurs des Nations Unies est de maintenir la paix et la sécurité internationales. 
La Pologne a été membre non permanent du Conseil de Sécurité des Nations Unies à 6 reprises, entre 1946 et 2019.

The official logo of this 75th anniversary of the United Nations (United Nations emblem, mention "UN75" with the associated slogan "Shaping our future together" in English) is reproduced on this stamp, as well as a globe and a dove with a branch of olive tree in the beak, recalling that one of the major objectives of the United Nations is to maintain international peace and security.
Poland has been a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council 6 times, between 1946 and 2019.
