Le 14 décembre 2020, la Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), le 2ème opérateur postal désigné (l'autre étant la poste kirghize) du Kirghizstan, a mis en circulation une jolie série (3 timbres + 1 bloc-feuillet) consacrée à différentes personnalités, dont le réalisateur de cinéma et scénariste italien Federico Fellini (1920-1993), considéré comme l'un des plus grands et célèbres réalisateurs italiens du 20ème siècle et l'un des cinéastes les plus illustres de l'histoire du cinéma, à l'occasion du 100ème anniversaire de sa naissance.
Marquée à ses débuts par le néoréalisme, l'œuvre de Federico Fellini évolue, dans les années 1960, vers une forme singulière et moderne. Ses films se caractérisent alors par le foisonnement des thèmes et du récit, l'artificialité revendiquée de la mise en scène et l'absence totale de frontière entre le rêve, l'imaginaire, l'hallucination et le monde de la réalité...
On December 14, 2020, the Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), the 2nd designated postal operator (the other being the Kyrgyz Post) of Kyrgyzstan, put into circulation a  nice series (3 stamps + 1 souvenir sheet) dedicated to different personalities, including the Italian film director and screenwriter Federico Fellini (1920-1993), considered one of the greatest and famous Italian directors of the 20th century and one of the most illustrious filmmakers in the history of cinema, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth.
Marked in its beginnings by neorealism, the work of Federico Fellini evolved, in the 1960s, towards a singular and modern form. His films are then characterized by the profusion of themes and narrative, the claimed artificiality of the staging and the total absence of border between dreams, imagination, hallucination and the world of reality ... 

 

J'ai eu la chance de recevoir le FDC officiel ci-dessus (tirage : 250) concernant ce timbre (100 KGS, tirage : 5000), conçu par Dmitri Murahovschi et Daria Maier, avec TAD de Bichkek.
Fellini a gagné la Palme d'or au Festival de Cannes en 1960 pour "La dolce vita" et quatre fois l'Oscar du meilleur film en langue étrangère à Hollywood ("La strada", "Les Nuits de Cabiria", "Huit et demi" et "Amarcord"). Il a également reçu un Oscar d'honneur en 1993 pour l'ensemble de sa carrière.
Les administrations postales d'Italie et de Saint-Marin ont également émis des timbres en 2020 rendant hommage à Federico Fellini. 

I was lucky enough to receive the above official FDC (print run: 250) regarding this stamp (100 KGS, print run: 5,000), designed by Dmitri Murahovschi and Daria Maier, with postmarks from Bishkek. 

Fellini won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 1960 for "La dolce vita" and four times the Oscar for best foreign language film in Hollywood ("La strada", "Nights of Cabiria", "8½" and "Amarcord"). He also received an Honorary Oscar in 1993 for Lifetime Achievement.

The postal administrations of Italy and San Marino also issued stamps in 2020 paying tribute to Federico Fellini. 

 

Ce timbre a été imprimé (par Nova Imprim en Moldavie) dans le feuillet ci-dessus composé de 4 timbres (tirage : 1250 feuillets) avec 2 vignettes montrant Fellini lors du tournage de "La dolce vita" en 1960.
La KEP a également mis en circulation la jolie carte maximum ci-dessous (n° MC-64, tirage : 250) concernant ce timbre. 
This stamp was printed (by Nova Imprim in Moldova) in the minisheet above composed of 4 stamps (print run: 1,250 minisheets) with 2 labels showing Fellini during the filming of "La dolce vita" in 1960.
The KEP has also put into circulation the nice maxicard below (No MC-64, print run: 250) regarding this stamp.
