"Post Day - The Green Army" stamps on cover from Egypt

Timbres "Journée de la Poste - l'Armée verte" sur lettre d'Égypte

Après un hommage à l'armée blanche à travers un timbre mis en circulation le 20 octobre 2020, consacré à la pandémie de Covid-19 et en particulier à tous ces travailleurs de la santé, qui ont lutter héroïquement contre ce fléau dans le pays depuis mars 2020, la poste égyptienne a émis, le 2 janvier 2021, un autre timbre évoquant cette fois l'armée verte.
Ce timbre a été émis à l'occasion de la Journée nationale de la poste, le terme "armée verte" faisant référence aux employés de la poste égyptienne ayant continué de travailler et de rendre service aux habitants pendant cette pandémie.
After a tribute to the White Army through a stamp put into circulation on October 20, 2020, dedicated to the Covid-19 pandemic and in particular to all these health workers, who have heroically fought against this scourge in the country since March 2020, the Egyptian Post issued another stamp on January 2, 2021, this time evoking the Green Army.
This stamp was issued on the occasion of the National Post Day, the term "Green Army" referring to the employees of the Egyptian Post who continued to work and to serve the inhabitants during this pandemic.

 

Ce timbre (5 £E, tirage et auteur inconnus), incluant le logo de la poste égyptienne et montrant plusieurs type de métiers au sein de la poste, a été utilisé en 3 exemplaires sur cette jolie lettre envoyée le 20 février 2021 depuis le Caire , avec TADs bleus du Centre des services postaux "Pyramides". Merci beaucoup Mohammed !
A noter que cette lettre a été retournée à l'envoyeur pour insuffisance d'affranchissement, le tarif en vigueur au 1er janvier 2021 étant désormais de 40 £E pour un envoi jusqu'à 20g en France...

This stamp (£E 5, unknown print run and designer), including the logo of the Egyptian Post and showing several types of jobs within the Post, was used in triplicate on this pretty letter sent on February 20, 2021 from Cairo , with blue cancellations from the "Pyramides" Postal Service Center. To note that this cover was returned to the sender for insufficient postage, the rate in force on January 1, 2021 being now £E 40 for a shipment up to 20g sent to France ...
