"Modern Paintings (issue of 2021)" stamp set on FDC from Taiwan

Série "Peintures modernes (émission de 2021)" sur FDC de Taïwan

Le 21 avril 2021 (année 110 localement), la Chunghwa Post de Taïwan a mis en circulation la 3ème partie d'une jolie série (4 timbres, tirage : 616000 chacun), initiée en 2018, consacrée à des peintures modernes, en collaboration avec le Musée national des beaux-arts de Taiwan (situé à Taichung depuis 1988) et le musée des beaux-arts de Taipei (inauguré en 1983).
Des timbres sur ce thème avaient déjà été émis à Taïwan (en 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009 et 2010) mais cette collaboration avec 2 des principales institutions culturelles du pays consacrées à l'art moderne, est une première.

Ce TAD est inspiré d'une des 4 œuvres à l'honneur ici, intitulée "Navires du sud du pays" (1941) par le peintre Huang Ching-shan (1906-2005). 
On April 21, 2021 (year 110 locally), the Chunghwa Post of Taiwan put into circulation the 3rd part of a nice series (4 stamps, print run: 616,000 each), initiated in 2018, devoted to modern paintings, in collaboration with the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (located in Taichung since 1988) and the Taipei Fine Arts Museum (inaugurated in 1983).
Stamps on this theme had already been issued in Taiwan (in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009 and 2010), but this collaboration with two of the country's leading cultural institutions dedicated to modern art is a first.

This postmark is inspired by one of the 4 works of art in the spotlight here, entitled "Ship of Southern Country" (1941) by painter Huang Ching-shan (1906-2005).

 

Cette peinture (timbre à 12 NT$) représente un canal dans la ville de Tainan avec des gens qui se détendent de leur vie trépidante en montant à bord d'embarcations. L'œuvre est dominée par les voiles rouge brunâtre laissant une grande partie de la toile blanche.
L'autre timbre à 12 NT$ reproduit une œuvre intitulée "Début de l'été dans le sud de Taïwan" (1940) par le peintre Huang Shui-wen (1914-2010), représentant un des nombreux cocotiers du sud de Taïwan, portant des fruits abondants au milieu de feuilles fraîches dans un ciel clair et lumineux avec quelques nuages ​​blancs épars et des oiseaux.
Le 1er timbre à 8 NT$ est consacré à une peinture "Mont Datun" (1934) par Ni Chiang-huai (1894-1943), une élégante harmonie de couleurs pour représenter le paysage de montagne au pied du mont Datun avec une route sinueuse traversant le centre de l'image.
Le dernier timbre (8 NT$) reproduit une œuvre intitulée "Une scène de Fengyuan" (1927) par le peintre Yeh Huo-cheng (1908-1993), illustrant une rue de Fengyuan à Taichung. À droite se trouve un bâtiment à étages avec des arcs en brique rouge tandis qu'à gauche se trouve une maison au toit de chaume jaune.
This painting (NT$ 12 stamp) depicts a canal in the city of Tainan with people relaxing from their busy lives by boarding skiffs. The work of art is dominated by the brownish red sails leaving much of the canvas white.
The other NT$ 12 stamp reproduces a work entitled "Early Summer in South Taiwan" (1940) by painter Huang Shui-wen (1914-2010), representing one of the many coconut trees in southern Taiwan, bearing abundant fruit amidst fresh leaves in a bright, clear sky with a few scattered white clouds and birds.
The first NT$ 8 stamp is dedicated to a painting "Mount Datun" (1934) by Ni Chiang-huai (1894-1943), an elegant harmony of colors to represent the mountain landscape at the foot of Mount Datun with a winding road crossing the center of the image.
The last stamp (NT$ 8) reproduces a work entitled "A Scene from Fengyuan" (1927) by painter Yeh Huo-cheng (1908-1993), illustrating a street of Fengyuan in Taichung. To the right is a storied building with brick-red arches whilst on the left is an earth-yellow thatched house with walls of adobe.
