"Celebrations of independence" joint s/s with the UAE, on FDC from India

L'Inde et les Émirats arabes unis ont établi des relations diplomatiques en 1972, il y a 50 ans, et ont mis en circulation, le 18 février 2022, un intéressant bloc-feuillet commun (2 timbres) consacré à 2 célébrations importantes pour les 2 pays, le 75ème anniversaire de l'indépendance de l'Inde et le 50ème anniversaire de la formation des Émirats arabes unis.
Son Altesse Royale le cheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, président des Émirats arabes unis (décédé en mai 2022), a annoncé 2021 comme "Year of the 50th" pour commémorer les 50 ans de la formation des Émirats arabes unis, en 1971.
Du 6 avril 2021 au 31 mars 2022, les Émirats arabes unis ont célébré leur remarquable voyage au cours des 50 dernières années et commencent à se préparer pour les 50 prochaines.
Les Émirats arabes unis sont une fédération composée de sept émirats : Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Charjah, Dubaï, Fujaïrah, Ras el Khaïmah et Oumm al Qaïwaïn et ont pour capitale fédérale la ville d'Abu Dhabi, Dubaï étant considérée comme la capitale économique.
India and the United Arab Emirates established diplomatic relations in 1972, 50 years ago, and put into circulation, on February 18, 2022, an interesting joint souvenir sheet (2 stamps) dedicated to 2 important celebrations for the 2 countries, the 75th anniversary of India's independence and the 50th anniversary of the formation of the United Arab Emirates.
His Royal Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (who died on May 2022), announced 2021 as "Year of the 50th" to commemorate 50 years since the formation of the United Arab Emirates in 1971.
From April 6, 2021 to March 31, 2022, the United Arab Emirates celebrated its remarkable journey over the past 50 years and started preparing for the next 50.
The United Arab Emirates are a federation made up of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Sharjah, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras el Khaïmah and Umm al Qaïwaïn and has as federal capital the city of Abu Dhabi, Dubai being considered as the economic capital.

 

Cette année marque également le 75ème anniversaire de l'accession de l'Inde à l'indépendance, le 15 août 1947, après avoir fait partie de l'Empire britannique.
Le 75ème anniversaire de l'indépendance de l'Inde ou "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" ("Elixir de liberté") est un événement à venir, au cours duquel cet anniversaire sera officiellement célébré en Inde le 15 août 2022. 
Cette mention figure sur un des 2 timbres (25 Rs) de ce bloc-feuillet, dont la version indienne figure sur le FDC officiel ci-dessus, avec TAD de Bhubaneswar. Merci beaucoup Swarup !
Les drapeaux des 2 pays sont représentés sur ces timbres ainsi que, dans la marge inférieure, les palais présidentiels respectifs, Rashtrapati Bhavan à New Delhi et Qaṣr Al-Waṭan à Abu Dhabi.
L'Inde est la plus grande destination d'exportation et partenaire commercial des Émirats arabes unis et les 2 pays partagent des liens politiques, économiques et culturels.
Un tunnel ferroviaire sous la mer (2000 km de long !) est en cours de construction entre l'Inde et les Émirats arabes unis et les 2 pays ont signé en 2022 un accord de partenariat économique global avec pour devise de porter le commerce bilatéral à 100 milliards de dollars d'ici 5 ans.

75th Year of Independence Day of India or "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" ("Elixir of freedom") is an upcoming event, in which the 75th Year of Independence of India to be officially celebrated in India on 15 August 2022.

This mention is featured on one of the 2 stamps (Rs 25) of this souvenir sheet, whose Indian version appears on the official FDC above, with postmarks from Bhubaneswar. Thank you very much Swarup!

The flags of the 2 countries are represented on these stamps as well as, in the lower margin, the respective presidential palaces, Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi and Qaṣr Al-Waṭan in Abu Dhabi.

India is the largest export destination and trading partner of the United Arab Emirates and the 2 countries share political, economic and cultural ties.

A railway tunnel under the sea (2000 km long!) is under construction between India and the United Arab Emirates and the 2 countries signed in 2022 a comprehensive economic partnership agreement with a motto of bringing bilateral trade to 100 billion dollars within 5 years.
