"Tokyo 2020 Olympics" stamp set on cover from China

Série "Jeux olympiques Tokyo 2020" sur lettre de Chine

Le 23 juillet 2021, la poste de la République populaire de Chine a mis en circulation une jolie série (2 timbres) consacrée aux jeux olympiques d'été de Tokyo 2020 (32ème olympiade), organisés du 23 juillet au 8 août 2021 à cause de la pandémie mondiale de Covid-19.
Ces 2 timbres (1,20 yuan), conçus par Zhang Qiang et Hu Xi et imprimés dans une même feuille composée de 12 timbres (6 de chaque), ont été utilisés à droite sur cette jolie lettre envoyée le 12 juillet 2022 depuis Beijing. Merci beaucoup Ruinan !
Ces 2 timbres, incluant l'emblème du comité olympique chinois, illustrent 2 disciplines sportives dans lesquelles la Chine performe traditionnellement lors des jeux olympiques d'été, l'haltérophilie et le tennis de table (épreuve de double mixte ici), avec un soleil et des fleurs de cerisier rappelant le Japon dans le fond. 
On July 23, 2021, the Post of the People's Republic of China put into circulation a nice series (2 stamps) dedicated to the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics (32nd Olympiad), organized from July 23 to August 8, 2021 due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.
These two stamps (1.20 yuan), designed by Zhang Qiang and Hu Xi and printed in a single sheet consisting of 12 stamps (6 of each), were used on the right on this nice cover sent on July 12, 2022 from Beijing. Thank you very much Ruinan!
These two stamps, including the emblem of the Chinese Olympic Committee, illustrate two sports disciplines in which China traditionally performs during the Summer Olympics, weightlifting and table tennis (mixed doubles event here), with a sun and cherry blossoms reminiscent of Japan in the background.

 

A Tokyo, la délégation chinoise (406 athlètes engagés dans 30 sports) a remporté un total de 89 médailles dont 38 en or, terminant à la 2ème place du classement, derrière les USA.
Parmi les sports dans lesquels les chinois ont remporté le plus de médailles d'or à Tokyo : plongeon, tennis de table, tir, haltérophilie, natation ou gymnastique.
Ruinan a utilisé 2 autres timbres (1,20 yuan, conception : Shi Yuan) à gauche, faisant partie d'une série (8 timbres) émise le 19 mai 2013, consacrée à différentes villes anciennes du pays, Laitan et Qiantong ici.
Située à l'est du district Hechuan de la municipalité de Chongqing, la vieille ville de Laitan est considérée comme l'une des "dix plus belles villes anciennes de Chine". La ville a une très longue histoire, qui remonte à la dynastie Qing.
Qiantong est l'une des plus anciennes villes de culture confucéenne de l'est de la province du Zhejiang. Les anciennes résidences présentent toutes de hauts murs, des piliers peints et des poutres sculptées et les gens peuvent accéder à ces maisons depuis des canaux.

In Tokyo, the Chinese delegation (406 athletes participating in 30 sports) won a total of 89 medals, including 38 gold, finishing in 2nd place in the ranking, behind the USA.

Among the sports in which the Chinese won the most gold medals in Tokyo: diving, table tennis, shooting, weightlifting, swimming or gymnastics.

Ruinan used two other stamps (1.20 yuan, design: Shi Yuan) on the left, part of a set (8 stamps) issued on May 19, 2013, dedicated to different ancient cities in the country, Laitan and Qiantong here. Located in the east of Hechuan District of Chongqing Municipality, Laitan Ancient Town is considered one of the "ten most beautiful ancient towns in China". The city has a very long history, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

Qiantong is one of the most ancient towns with Confucian culture in eastern Zhejiang Province. The old residences all feature high walls, painted pillars and carved beams and people can access these houses from water channels.
